I came up with a whole backstory for this AU, but I’ll just leave you with this blurb:

After the media circus around the Cerberus trials dies down and the rogue Section 31 cell has been thoroughly dealt with, no one expects to see key witness Shepard, ex-special forces commander, ever again. Not after she publicly disavowed Starfleet, and not with half the quadrant still questioning her involvement. They especially don’t expect to see her captaining her own starship. And to hire a turian first officer only months after the Hierarchy’s sudden and inexplicable move to join the Federation? It’s like she’s begging for negative attention. The galaxy wants to know: what leverage does she hold against Starfleet brass to make them cater to her every whim? And how long until the crew cannibalizes itself under her rogue leadership?

Regarding the post I made earlier today about a famous Durgetash line no longer working ("For what it's worth, I think I always liked you, too. But this is how it must be"), @helldusks pointed out this mod by flymmsy, which does actually fix the issue completely! Unfortunately, it's only for PC, but it's great that a fix is available!

Updated Vallaslin Chart::  DA:I & DA:O Correspondences

So earlier this month, Matt Rhodes released this presumably Official chart of the Dalish vallaslin tattoos and which member of the elven pantheon they represent. I happened to look at fandom resource from 2011 created by Glitterdust, and I noticed that the pattern marked as Falon'Din on the official chart very closely resembled the pattern marked as Mythal on the fanon chart. And that pattern did not look much like the official Mythal pattern. 

Discontinuities bother me. So, I played a game of Match-Up. 

Origins tattoos have been matched to Inquisition tattoos based on similar visual elements and/or themes. I make no claims to accuracy or canon authority.
