YOUR FACTION CHOICE IS ACCOUNT LOCKED!!!

You cannot join multiple factions on multiple characters to get all quest dialogue or RP options, and you cannot get all of the dyes and titles locked to faction choice until the Night Market returns three times total.

You will be able to join another faction the next time it comes around later this year, and there is nothing else about faction choice that limits your gameplay. You can play with other factions and purchase all of their rewards too. It's just dialogue, dye, and title that limited.

Be informed when making your choice, and have fun!

Heads up! For the new seasonal challenge (Kill 1,000 foes in the Gold Coast, Hew's Bane, and Wrothgar), you HAVE to get kills in the overland for it to count. Public dungeons, group dungeons, delves, Maelstrom Arena, etc. DO NOT count for the challenge! However, group kills DO count.

I highly recommend going to Wrothgar, getting into groups (yes i know, many people don't like doing that), waiting at a world boss, and getting kills between world boss spawns to get this done. You have the whole season to do this, but I did it in one sitting (because i'm insane) and still finished everything in about 2ish hours. Granted, I got the first 600 kills by myself first. The grouping part took me about ~30 minutes for the last 400 kills.

A world boss takes about 4.5 minutes to respawn. Immediately after killing the boss, you can go out into the world and get some kills for 3 minutes, then spend the last minute and a half returning to the WB area. Remember, critters also count for this! Decimate the local horker population for the group's benefit!

The world boss I was waiting at was Old Snagara at Poacher's Encampment, but I heard that Unfinished Dolmen is also a good option.

ZeniMax have released a stream discussing some of the changes coming to Update 50. The stream focused on various player experience improvements. Some of the changes will include:

Motif Sourcing Improvements: motifs in crown store now tell you where to obtain motifs in-game without paying crowns for them.

Exemplary Deconstruction: exemplary items can now be deconstructed.

Vampire + Werewolf Bite Quests: Shrines of Molag Bal renamed to Shrines of Lamae Bal, alongside related quest dialogue. This was a lore mistake brought up on the forums and ZOS had promised to fix. You can now flirt with the vampire and werewolf NPCs. Priest of Arkay cure is now zero gold to match the zero crown cost. Crown store cure may be eventually removed, but kept for now.

Transmute Stations: Now found in Mages Guild across Tamriel in capital cities, reskinned to not look Clockwork/Dwemeri.

Guild Mail: Guild Leader (and ranks with perms) can send mail to guild members via the guild interface based on individual ranks or everyone. 14 days expiration duration. Max 5 guild mails sent at once,

New Golden Pursuit for newer Players.

They also briefly touched on plans for ESO's eventual crossplay update. The challenges for crossplay are being carefully weighed, with some issues like how to handle the economy being major issues that need to be explored before it releases. As such, crossplay will not be available until at least next year.

Decon some of your transmute storing items/open geodes now that the transmute cap is increased

"Hide x" for all pieces of an outfit goes live, so go forth and hide your gloves. Or pants. Whatever you wish

Locate the "stylemaster" npcs in alliance capital cities and Kvatch to buy the new blue dk skill styles for gold

Go to the various stablemasters across Tamriel to get all of the new mounts of gold. list of all mounts and their locations are here:

Make use of the new increased furnishing limit in most houses

Relearn how to play dragonknight.

Admire the new 2h skill animations

Try out the new respec menu

Increase bag space on alts now that it is cheaper and easier

Consider starting trait research on alts now that the research times have gone down significantly

Night Market and Season Zero do not start on patch day as a reminder. Those are both scheduled for next month, so don't go looking around Fargrave or for the Tamriel Tome menu.
