𝓡in and you had been childhood sweethearts, the kind that made people scrunch their face in jealousy.
He tried his best to be the one you rely on , stay for. Sure y'all had fights here and there , you were impulsive and acted in emotions, he was precise with his emotions and actions, polar opposites as the world calls it.You still remember vividly the day he asked you out , it wasn't the best proposal, but he was honest about it, there were meteor showers and he had made a wish , but he told you it's a secret .
Something raw and intense had flickered in his eyes when he told you he loved you and wanted to be your boyfriend, his stare had always been intense, consuming every inch of you till only a person that loved him remained . He loved you ,he made sure you and everything around you knew that.
You remembered during a particularly nasty fight followed by a impulsive breakup ,he came telling you ,He has a gift for you ,it was a design for a wedding dress , somehow it was everything you could've wanted in a dress but you didn't get too look at it as he closed the sketch book

He just sighed and apologized .He always showed up when it mattered, when the world left you in a nasty corner to rot, he was there.
Maybe he loved you with the same passion he loved soccer. You and soccer occupied the top one position in his priority list.
He cried the day he had to leave you , his love , his best friend, his home for France to get better than his brother, you cried too ofcourse. He came back after 4 years in autumn , you waited ,when he came back it was like you were 16 all over again, the same feeling of love with one difference tho , he was somehow even more handsome now, absolutely jacked . He left a boy and returned a man.
To celebrate his return you guys went to a club but your dress and the atmosphere made rin feel a certain type of way and so he planned on taking you to his house and finally give you the ring you deserved all along and maybe something else too ahem, but the combination of your pouty lips and hazy eyes due to alcohol made him pin you to the street wall in the back alley of that bar, before things could escalate you noticed from the angle you were in that a few people were surrounding you , while you shook rin and made him aware of the situation it had been to late──you saw a knife swinging towards your abdomen but rin tried to protect you and kick off the thug but maybe it was the alcohol messing up with his system or maybe it just wasn't his day that day.
He got stabbed, severely the kind that made a splash sound on encounter with his right leg ,he did his all too protect you and then he collapsed, the thugs ran away after stealing all the money you both had and also not forgetting to take y'alls phones.
Rin was screaming in agony and the world around you had deafened , everything was starting to spin . WHAT THE FUCK JUST HAPPENED.
You tried too move but you were too sluggish ───too slow or maybe the world was going too fast , you saw rin collapsing and that finally triggered the adrenaline in your body. You screamed on top of your lungs "HELP"!!! you screamed again, and again and again......to your luck no one came,so you ran till you saw someone, which took a while,you ran till your feet hurted , till they felt like they were on fire , you were about to collapse it was all too much.
A girl with kind eyes approched you and you blurted all you could in the span of 10 mins, you don't really remember what happened after cus you had fainted and when you had woken up something has changed ───you took off whatever medical needles were attached to your arms they were trembling a bit , all the things that happened in the past 3 hours were running through your mind.
Rin was in critical condition, you prayed to anything and everything, you wished you could take his pain rn but alas!
Rin was in stable condition now , you visited him . He didn't wanted to see you , he hated you now,
"I don't wanna see your useless face rn"
"You weren't the one who saved me right? Shrimpy told me everything.Do you know how much I fucking sacrificed for you ??? My leg , my right leg ,the one that scored goals across the globe now has a limp cus I was busy protecting your useless ass"
"Who is shrimpy?and calm down a tad bit will ya , it's cus of you, we were in the alley way anyways.

Rin met you again and apologised and groveld but the crack between y'alls relationship was a cliff that could never be the same again.

Your wedding within a week. You were going wedding gown shopping with your fiance. You saw a beautiful dress there , entering the store you told the worker to bring that particular dress , she said it's not for sale but you added

Wowzers! you looked otherworldly in that. Unbeknownst to you rin was also there , it was a gown he had decided for you planning to apologise with a real dress this time , thinking it would still work like back then, but as he is about to approach you , you kiss a man in the lips and he compliments you , worst of all you're looking at the man the same way you used to look at him , so he turns around and tells the worker to sell you that dress to you for the lowest price cus he knew you wouldn't take it for free, not like it mattered the dress was for you afterall, all those years ago he made a wish , that he wants to see you in the wedding dress made by him , you wore it but it's just that it's not for him.
Rin won't be the one you'd be promising your vows too anymore.Rin never really dated anyone after you.His soccer career was over due to the injury.
Ruined him for the world he could have ruled.
