Yeah fine
My years and years of thirst, muttering madly to themselves as I am finally reaching out my wrinkled hand, to touch that crumbling, rusty lock, to open that treasure chest:
Yesss! Yessss! This is the night. The night we've been waiting for! Rainfall and exploding cars, yes! Mountain trolls! Yes, it is the night the child is born! Yes, the night we unleash the tiger nears, the hidden chameleon, the frozen one!!! And he is the one who opens his eyes, and he is the one who opens his mouth and he is the one to sing;
Watch me, for I am the eye of the tiger! Watch me, for you shall hear me roar!
My brain, at home:
Did you search: nice timing to have an existential crisis called "Wtf are actually doing here, though?"
The years and years: Oh for fucks sake!! We are reaching into the backwork, meeting the white-faced death, the white gorilla, the killer bee he runs from, obviously! As the Belles are singing... I mean. Bells are ringing!
Everyone else: Uhh. Who's carrying that tranquilizer, again? Let's just put her down now.
no one haunts the narrative like they do they've got the narrative in a chokehold 7 years later
i love that this episode proved how buck and tommy's relationship was not different at all to any other buck relationship. months of having to read how this relationship was better for buck and buck was surer and tommy understood him better and blahblahblah. and then buck goes and spirals about something and asks him to move in just like he did with taylor!!!! like this was exactly what his relationship with taylor went through with the lucy kiss. but in this case tommy could just see better what the end road was and he stopped it before it got harder because he had crucial information that had been missing before which was 1) buck is bi 2) he has seen buck and eddie more than any other love interest so he can see where they're going
