Last year I wrote a letter to myself laying out all that I was going to achieve. Reading it back and getting ready to write a new one I learnt some important lessons. Most important is that writing your dreams down is one step closer to making them a reality. Anyone who says there’s no good food in the U.K doesn’t know what they are talking about. I am trying to save money but when I get home for any amount of time I try to stop by my favorite spots. If you are ever on Peckham high street stop by falafel and shawarma. I remember leaving school in my uniform with a pound coin in my pocket to go get my chicken and chips. Letting boss man know it’s a side break and chips things. Standing by the counter just dreaming of what could be. 7 year down the line I’m in Providence, Rhode Island in an apartment missing home. We have graduated high school, snowshoed, gone to college, seen new countries, we have stood in time square, we took the subway to China town, took the T to a war ship. It all started with a dream. I say we because behind me is a team of people who show so much support ❤️. Always dream big, and start with how something is possible rather than all the things that make it impossible.
