Missing my dad so much, so I had the playlist of his favorite band on. I’ve heard Everything I Own a million times before but it was the first time I actually really listened to the lyrics. It depicts exactly how I feel right now
Missing my dad a little extra today. Changes my desktop wallpaper to a memory of a last time 🌃
Oh and I’m so excited about my recent coffee-related purchase!!! I’ve been meaning to buy a Keurig K-Mini in Oasis color for my condo, since I don’t have a coffee machine here yet. Then I stumbled upon the limited edition, designed by Jonathan Adler, which I instantly fell in love with! I knew right then that it was the perfect capsule machine for me because it gives me the Moroccan vibes!
Just look at that beauty!!! Anyway, I’ve been looking for it here in the PH but it isn’t available, so I opted for my last resort which is to purchase it directly from the US. And I got it! Although I had it shipped via sea cargo, which costs less but takes longer so I’d probably get it in over a month or so. I’m so excited! So grateful as well to my friend who helped me through the process of ordering!
Made a few tweaks in our coffee nook! Looks better, no?

Simple home improvements make me happy ❤️
Since lately i’ve been kind of allured by Moroccan design, I bought a serving tray, seat cover and a mini drawer that match! Credit goes to my mom for the table cover and my new frame hanging above the refrigerator. Here’s a closer look:
I’ve also re-arranged my kitchen appliances-
Changed my induction cooker to a Xiaomi Mijia to match my other white appliances. This cooker came from my dad, when he was still alive. Most of my appliances here were migrated from my old apartment, and I remember him more when I see my microwave oven and refrigerator. He was the one who bought them for me. Highlighting also my George Foreman grilling machine (beside the cooker) from my mom!
My ref magnets also came with me, to always remind me of my love for travel.
My little work corner here and an artificial Monstera plant (‘cause i’m too neglectful to take care of a real plant lol)
Re-arranged frames as well-
Bought a Moroccan bed sheet & pillow case set, of course! And a gaming pad for my bf, showcasing the Great Wave off Kanagawa. The leather chair is my dad’s, which I took from his office at home.

Haven’t posted lately because I’ve been busy moving places again! Currently living again with my boyfriend after almost a year (he moved out
Can’t believe things as simple as a spice rack with free spices make me feel so giddy inside. I’m getting old
Mornings made better by our coffee slash breakfast nook
I make my coffee either via french press (special mention to the Starbucks Cherry Blossom collection! https://www.rappler.com/hustle/food/starbucks-philippines-cherry-blossom-merchandise-collection) an espresso machine, a drip coffee maker and the newest addition to our collection, the Nescafe®️ Dolce Gusto®️ Piccolo XS!
Still working on my latte art skills and will update you once I’ve made any progress 😂
Time for some coffee!
Out with the old, in with the new!
Love my new sheets 🌸
In my 27 years of existence, I’ve always prepared myself for the worst. A saying goes that when you feel happiness, always expect sadness to come after. I’ve been waiting for that one big problem, hardship, whatever, but I guess I was one of the lucky enough people to have never experienced difficulties throughout my life.
2020 punched me straight in the face. Not just once. It jabbed me, it hooked me, and it made a one big uppercut. Last year, I lost my job and in turn, I also let go of my apartment. I thought these were the worst things that could’ve happened that year. As if that wasn’t enough, little did I know, I would eventually lose my dog, and then in a snap, will come the biggest shock of my life. I eventually lost my dad too.
I realized now that losing my job and my apartment were blessings in disguise and not just failures. These unfortunate circumstances sent me running back home. For a few months at least, my life was at a standstill. And it had been perfect. The most perfect of all the perfects I’ve ever had.
This year, I know for sure, will be hard. I’d have to slowly face the fact that I’d have to go on life collecting days, and none will ever outweigh the ones I wish I had back. That there will always be a hole in my heart in the shape of you that nothing else can ever fit.
I hope that 2021 will be better. That the pain will be a bit more restricting.
It’s been 40 days, and it’s your last day on Earth. On this day is also the Feast of the Three Kings. This day represents the visit of the Magi. Visit us too before you go, will you? 🤗
This will be the first Christmas that I’ll be having without my dad. And if I can describe how I feel with music, this is it. This is exactly the one. It’s described as Relaxing Christmas Piano, but it sounds really sad to me
Haven’t posted lately because I’ve been busy moving places again! Currently living again with my boyfriend after almost a year (he moved out of my apartment last December then I moved out on the onset of the quarantine and went back to my family home), although it didn’t seem like we ever stopped living together because I’m always at his family’s house in Valenzuela. Anyhooow, my Mom insisted that I live in our condo with Austin (which is just 5-10 minutes away from our actual house), just so we could be nearer and I can always visit. Also, I’ve been planning to venture into Real Estate Development and Construction to probably take on the family business in the future. Also because I haven’t had a job since being laid off from HOOQ and I’m not planning to get a job anytime soon lol. Here’s Trees Residences by the way, where me and my baby currently live-
It’s a really peaceful place and is just a few steps from SM Fairview and Ayala Fairview Terraces. We’ve had a unit here for a while, and my elder sister’s husband used to rent it (he rented for 3 years) but ever since their wedding last March, the unit has been vacated and my sister and brother-in-law now have their own place. It’s smaller compared to my old apartment (which I greatly miss, by the way! Link here https://maanadelantar.tumblr.com/tagged/apartment if you haven’t seen it yet)
So, yeah here’s where we currently live! What can you say about the interiors? Lol. I left all my vintage stuff at home because I’ll still be living there anyway and my boyfriend often comes home to his house because he misses his dog. Sadly, no pets allowed here huhu. That’s it for now! I’m so grateful for my mom for all her support and for giving this condo for free! Love ya mother
