En route Baguio to say my final good-byes to Mama Merle Parreño. She retired as a teacher and a good soul. She was the one who reared and took care of my mother when she was orphaned as a child. She was also the one who took in my adopted sisters Ate Sandra and Christine. She had the biggest heart. Good byes are difficult. I'm still at a loss of what to say esp. when there is so much lost time. You will be missed Mama, and you will be forever in our hearts.
