|| THE RED SHOES: NEXT STEP || We literally could not be more excited to announce that we're working on the Score and Soundtrack for our second feature film; 'The Red Shoes: Next Step.' We've had the honour of watching this project bloom from the very beginning and have fallen in love with it over and over again as we've seen the whole team create absolute magic with it and the actors bring it to life! Over the last year we've been compiling a bunch of Soundtrack songs written to the characters and script and we're so humbled to have had a bunch of incredible vocalists come in to sing their hearts out and break our bloody hearts in the process! It has seriously been one of the most inspiring experiences getting to work on music pre-production and we promise to tell you all about it (and announce these bad ass vocalists) soon. Today we finally give you the first single of our debut EP… ‘You Should Know;’ a body of work that has seen 100 versions as its really grown with us the last 2 years. Last year in Lockdown we came up with a small lullaby called ‘Perfect.’ We had no idea how much this song would symbolise a letting go and a deep dive for us. Writing and producing it together was an exercise in just surrendering to the universe this song belonged to… even if it ended up being our whackiest vision yet. So here’s ‘Perfect;’ a whisper in the dark that was too indulgent to be a single… and we decided that’s exactly why it should be.
