Project: Build a Tribute Page
Hi bro, This is my recent project from https://www.freecodecamp.org Build a Tribute Page - https://codepen.io/Chell0/full/rGaXzO/ let me know what you think.
Morning..... May I Have Your Attention, Please? Thereâs hearing, and then thereâs listening. Hearing is the ability to perceive sounds or information. Listening is paying attention to them. Todayâs Scripture readings in Jeremiah are tragically sad, but sadly not uncommon. These Old Testament accounts are huge red flags warning us of danger ahead when we donât give God our full attention with all our heart, mind, and strength. Why? Well, if we arenât paying attention to God and His ways, weâre headed in the wrong directionâgoing backward and not forward. Too often, these wrong paths take us to dark and destructive places. The culprit of distraction is usually some innocently attractive lure such as a full schedule, raising kids, a quest for more of something, or even an electronic gadget with a host of fun surprises! To my knowledge, my six children all have perfect hearing, but too often their listening can be passive! Sometimes the only thing that will grab their attention is my secret code word: ice cream. Instantly they're hooked and reply, âWow! Really, Mom?â I then confess, âNo, I just needed your attention!â Honestly, I can be a passive listener, too, like when the smart phone has my concentration over my family. âMmhmm ⊠whatâs that again, honey?â We may laugh at these typical faux pas, but this is really not okay. Itâs dishonoring to people. And when it comes to ignoring God, itâs tragically undervaluing Him and downright rebellious. If weâre going to fully follow our heavenly Father, weâre going to need to pay attention to His messages! Remember, His divine communication comes in a variety of formats: His Word, a fellow believerâs counsel, a Bible Plan, a dream or vision, a whisper, or a nudging thought. Yes, the mode of Godâs communication is vast because Heâs a BIG God and a communication expert desiring to continually connect with you! Ask the Father: What is distracting me from paying attention to You? Todayâs worship song recommendation: âFirstâ by Lauren Daigle Read Jeremiah 7:13,24,26. Have a blessed day.

You make the first move
Say these words right now out loud: âIt was my fault.â âIâm sorry.â âYou were right.â
That was a struggle, wasnât it? Those words come hard out of my mouth, and you probably donât say them very often yourself. We like to be right. We like the moral high ground of remembering clearly the faults of others. We excel at justifying our own words and actions and can easily findâŠ

The Monkeys Experiment
âBusiness professors Gary Hamel and C. K. Prahalad wrote about an experiment conducted with a group of monkeys. Four monkeys were placed in a room that had a tall pole in the center. Suspended from the top of that pole was a bunch of bananas. One of the hungry monkeys started climbing the pole to get something to eat, but just as he reached out to grab a banana, he was doused with a torrent ofâŠ

Alone RangerÂ
What do you do to stay in shape? Hit the gym every morning? Train for a road race? Bike to work? Interestingly, we live in a world that encourages men to make their bodies strong but neglects their spirits. As a result, we too often work to build up our biceps but completely ignore our souls. We typically think of masculine strength as physical, but what if true strength comes from insideâfromâŠ

Say What!?!??
David repented for his mistake with Bathsheba.Â
Breakdown: Have you ever made a BIG mistake? I mean a really BIG mistake, one that you thought you would never make? One that when you saw others make it, you said to yourself, âHow could they do something so sillyâ? Even as I write these words, I can tell you that I have made those kinds of mistakes. This is where we find David as he writes thisâŠ
