@mackandmore
i’m proud that marvel is focusing on the balance of how the world looks between characters of different race, you never saw that with nick and carol or tony and rhodey, seeing the difference that sam faces compared to bucky not only sets up for great lines and lessons in the show but using real life examples is great. the whole part is episode two with the police stopping them but then once the realized who sam was, not arresting him is accurate, bucky having a therapist whos hard on him is accurate as well. the depth this show has when it comes to race is so good so far and should not be overlooked
@nbc make him openly bi you cowards.

omg all the wonderful friendships in season 2 of Sex Education!! This show is so pure and real in its depiction of human relationships while also being ridiculously funny.
season two of sex education hit different. it’s so refreshing to watch a group of diverse characters explore their sexuality. shoutout to the writers bc i kind of can’t believe a show can be written that perfectly

“What was challenging about creating the balance between you’re talking about something very serious, very complicated, very dark, but with humor? Was it difficult to strike the balance for that character?” [x]
JOAQUIN PHOENIX DID THAT!
My fav things about Little Women (2019)
-one of the best goddamn movies to come out this year.
- Greta gerwig is a fucking visionary.
- I thought the timeline, though a bit complex, was easy to understand. I appreciated the past to have a bright, orange-yellow filter to it, and the present to have cooler tones to it. It made it easier to follow
- I love how Florence Pugh showed a notable change between young Amy and older Amy. You see her maturity grow.
- the shots were very well thought out. Each scene ended at just the right time, you didn’t feel as though there needed to be more or less.
- greta gerwig is a genius! She managed to follow the original story line extremely well, while putting her own twist on the screenplay.
- the costumes were absolutely stunning
- it was S O emotional (obviously the story is, but you can have a fantastic script and still not feel any connection depending on the actors).
- Jo March will forever be one of my favorite literary characters, ane will forever mean a lot to me. Saoirse Ronan managed to portray her perfectly. No complaints.
- there was many parallels through the movie. Example: when Beth was sick when she was younger and when she was older. Gerwig mimicked many of the shots and scenes from the earlier time and paralleled it to the later time and it made me weep like a little baby.
- screw you timothee chalamet during the scene where laurie confesses his love for Jo. It felt so personal
- I love a period piece and always will, but I love how Gerwig didn’t try too hard to modernize the language. They spoke as one would post civil war.
- in past renditions of little women, we don’t see the development of Amy and laurie’s relationship, so it’s a common dislike among audiences, but we see their growth and I can’t help but love it.
- the ending was beautiful and very close to breaking the 4th wall, with it’s nods to the idea of a romantic ending
- I’m going to need to see it again because I just want another chance to delve into this beautiful story.
- I really don’t think I have any complaints.
- every. sister. was. phenomenal. They clearly worked hard and developed who they were as a character. I did NOT feel like I was watching hermione granger talking to lady bird.
- beautiful shots, beautiful story, beautiful actors, beautiful words, beautiful everything.
We have always been here.
