BEYBLADE OC WEEK (2026)

Day 2: Yellow

Characters Used: Freddy (CC), Cairo Yozora (OC)

Cairo Yozora is a Beyblade Burst Turbo OC. He is a subordinate to Kristina Kuroda and a temporary BeyTrainer for BC Sol, even being enlisted as a trainer & rival among the Battleship Cruise. His beyblade is Vixen Icarus, a combination of a field fox & the tragic Greek mythological hero, and is attack & defense (iirc).

I chose to use him for “today’s” prompt (yes I know I’m 4 days behind, college 💥), because I think using his established Icarus symbolism, in both his avatar and (you guys don’t know this yet) his lore, is fitting, since Icarus is often painted in warm colors, associated with melting wax wings and flying too close to our sun (which is an orange-yellow star). Furthermore, that’s why he has a sun/star earring and wing tattoos.

I also added Freddy of the Super Stars because that is Cairo’s bandmate in my (to be released) idol group fanon plot. Also, I personally associate Freddy with the color yellow because of the man he’s inspired by.

Cairo is my favorite of all my ocs to ever exist, and I definitely do plan on releasing more content and art of him to tumblr one day, hopefully when I’m less busy. In the meantime, feel free to ask me about him!

Here are some fun facts:

He’s half-Argentinian and half-Japanese! And like Kris, he lives in Spain. This is because his parents wanted to meet half way when settling down.

He has a twin sister! She’s the extrovert between the two.

His sexuality is Achillean.

He eventually moves on to form an idol band with the Super Stars (Zac, Orochi, Freddy, Mick, & Bowie), as well as Akira Yamatoga.

BEYBLADE OC WEEK (2026)

Day 1: PROMISE

“I promise, that no matter where we are, what lifetime we’re in…I’ll always find my way back to you.”

Characters Used: Xander Shakadera (CC), Hall Belhor (OC)

Athalia Belhor (simply nicknamed “Hall” or “Hali”) is a blader hailing from Buenos Aires, Argentina. An extremely athletic woman, Hall appears as a strong, muscular, and tall presence around others. She joined SB Rios for a better chance at garnering success in the Beyblade Hemisphere. Now, she works alongside Xander, making sure to keep SB Rios in check whenever he returns to visit the Sword Flames. Her beyblade is inspired by the Ushi-Oni, a Japanese folklore creature, better known as the “ox demon”. It is a stamina-defense type.

Her relationship with Xander is, for the most part, platonic. The two share a genuine mutual understanding of one another, and work hand-in-hand, as they often make for a good pair. He is the more outgoing, energetic, and passionate one, whereas she is the laidback and chilled counterpart to him, thus forming a perfect balance. Despite the differences in behavior, both still retain the same level of enthusiasm and care for blading and for the people around them.

In my personal universe (which is what the drawings to the left of the hand are supposed to represent), Xander and Hall begin as strangers, having crossed paths while traveling, and got stuck together due to external circumstances. That being said, both of them ultimately don’t mind, as they enjoy each other’s presence, and hearing about their personal lived experiences and tales from each’s respective world. They eventually move on to settle down and begin a romantic relationship with each other, raising a kid in a peaceful little land.

Their chosen promise is to stick by each other’s sides, no matter where they are, or whatever universe or lifetime they may be in, solidifying their trust and faith in one another, knowing they will find out how to drift back together.
