Abstract Starling Murmuration paintings. In this series I wrote a name on a piece of paper and burned it, then I used the ash for the background. This way the person is forever embedded into each painting.
’There Til Dawn’ 16”x 20”
Materials used: charcoal, gesso and acrylic paint on wood. This painting is based off a drawing I made of the moon, I used a scanner to manipulate the image, then I painted the finished product on to this beautiful frame I found. A stunningly haunting piece. Available for purchase through my website mackpaints.com

Here’s a behind the scenes of a painting I’m working on, I scanned the graphite drawing and manipulated it while it was scanning
For my very first tumblr post here’s me in my old art studio with a painting I was doing on an old film projector screen. I used acrylic and charcoal, in this painting I was beginning to play around with the idea of my self, and also working really large because I had the space. Thanks for looking!
