Any comparison between Qifrey and Gojo immediately dies once you get to the question of capability.
JJK is a world where someone can be born strongest. WHA says that's bullshit. No matter how "rebellious" Gojo is (which isn't much TBH), he still lives in a world that validates the antagonists' views of genetic superiority. Qifrey lives in a world where power is learned, gatekept, and systematically distributed. Any exploration of the latter in JJK falls flat because inheritance of power isn't critically examined beyond, "Oh, THESE people in power are conservative assholes. But this other guy who was born with his clan's superior genetics is just bearing the burden of a shitty family." That's bullshit. JJK is a FUN story, but its power system is a load of bullshit. There's no comparing two characters' capabilities when one of them lives in eugenicsland.
Moreover, their characterization depends on these structural differences. Not to mention the class difference. Qifrey puts himself into stressful situations to survive, and Gojo eliminates anything that could take him out. One of them (Gojo) has a choice in that. Qifrey frets over his students because he knows they have no inherent power or safety, but Gojo knows his students can only grow to be more powerful.
Even the causes behind their suicidal mindsets are the opposite of each other. Gojo feels trapped in his role at home. Qifrey can never be at home. Gojo grows apathetic, unwilling to take action until it's too late to save himself. Qifrey, on the other hand, tries to die young and develops a will to live as he grows into social safety.
If you want to take this even further, look at their relationships with their best friends. Gojo and Geto fell out because they couldn't breach the inherent power difference between them; Geto didn't feel like he could talk to Gojo, and Gojo kept him at distance. Then Geto went super sorcerer supremacist mode, and while Gojo didn't agree with him hurting people, he couldn't argue that Geto had no point because, again, they live in eugenicsland.
Meanwhile, even though Qifrey is unable to be honest with Olruggio, and he keeps wiping his memories of their most emotionally intimate conversations, they're STILL close. They're equals. Their struggle is that they tend to seek out trust and intimacy with each other, but an outside force makes that impossible to maintain. It's not an inherent barrier.
It's not, "I can never touch him because we're too different." Instead, it's, "I can't touch him because it will kill one of us." Which is a very different relationship driver.
Are there similarities between Qifrey and Gojo? Sure! Here they are. Their similarities just happen to be more superficial than they are meaningful. Don't get me wrong, I say this as a big Gojo enjoyer myself: that man is a construct of social horrors.
