For anyone wondering what that is, among other things, SAVE would require voters to have the same name on your ID that they have on their birth certificate, meaning that if they changed their name at some point (marriage, transitioning etc.) they wouldn't be able to vote. It's a dumb as fuck law that has not been passed (yet).

I wouldn’t necessarily say so. I get recommended stuff/have reels appear all the time that I don’t care about but people I am mutuals with have liked.

And the Marleau family (Will’s billet fam) for one is quite openly supportive of Tr*mp and there’s probably more in the hockey sphere of his follows. I’m not saying it’s impossible he liked it on his own, but I’m also not really gonna make that jump based on one single like (which lets be real, we have all accidentally liked something at some point too)

Sorry just on the reel he liked….IMO I don’t think he would really lean that way considering the only political figure his dad follows is Obama. Obviously everyone can have their own opinions but I just don’t see this for him🤷‍♀️

Completely agree with you and this anon but also, the other young guys weren’t there for Mack and Will’s rookie year? Misa wasn’t drafted and Dickie didn’t make the team so technically they were the only young guys. It’s also not about being young its about this being their first year in the nhl, guys like eky for example don’t fit this criteria. Also will and mack have claimed this to be one of the aspects that made them become friends so fast so i don’t understand why people argue against it? It has nothing to with not getting along with the other guys.

I feel like I constantly see people try to put down their friendships with their other teammates and I don’t understand why, so i just wanted to say something out it. Hopefully its coherent lol

Do we actually know that Will and Mack don't hang out with Sam and Misa? Or any of the other young ones? I feel like people are projecting their RPF thoughts/wishes a little too much onto those two these days... we literally don't know anything about their day by day life in SJ unless they or (most likely) someone else let's a hint drop about what they're up to, and whether they show up together (very likely) or hang out with others by themselves as well. As for potential partners, I feel for anyone who'll dare to date either one of them, because I've witnessed what happens to such partners in quite a few fandoms, and it wasn't pretty.

I'd like to add that a lot has changed about hockey culture in the last 20 years at least in the locker rooms and that's thanks to the millennial players. Crosby is a big example. He was HATED by vets and older players because of how good he was and was hazed heavily by them. I love that he and other now vets basically went "never again" and now treat the rookies like their own kids instead of tormenting them. Even Reavo said he finds it funny how much audacity the rookies have like hogging the massage table (which Mack often does) which never would've happened when he was a rookie. Will and Mack being surrounded by good natured vets like Toff, Wenny, Reavo, Mario, Goody etc give me hope that they're going to lead in a better era of hockey culture.

oh nothing compares to 1d. i don’t think anyone or anything in the future will match their fandom’s level of harassment and bullying. i’m also an f1 fan, and i remember when lando (an f1 driver) got a gf (she’s a model + actress) and her insta engagement just went up 200%😭 but nevertheless, ofc it wont reach that level, but there simply shouldn’t even exist a level of it period. imagine getting hated on simply because 2 people like e/o. (also i was a silent hater during the 1d era when i was like literally 12 but i kept all that hatred to myself and never voiced it💀)

yeah I understand getting sad about them getting a girlfriend if you're still young, but I never personally hated any of my childhood crushes either, kinda pointless. and imo only makes the artist/player more distanced from the fans because of course they're going to stand up for their partners
