Greetings, "Tumblr" community. I am Floofty Fizzlebean, the world’s very first Gastro-Entomologist. This means, of course, I study Bugsnax, and their effect on Grumpuses.

If none of you know what a Bugsnak is, I shall explain. Bugsnax are a new type of creature that Elizabert Megafig has discovered, and I (along with many others, unfortunately including my younger brother Snorpington) have come to their native island of Snaktooth in order to further study them.

So now that you know who I am and what I do, please, do send me questions. Believe it or not, I do enjoy answering them!

Hm.. I'm glad they finally found someone!~ Y'know, Snorp may have always had Chandlo, but Floofts? They didn't really have their person, growin' up. I'm glad they found 'em now, though!

As for what I do, I'm a mechanic! I dabble in a bit of robotics, too. I make alot of robots. Makes th' place a lil less... empty, y'know?

Eh, they’ve been doin' just fine, from what I hear. I dunno, haven't talked to 'em much lately.

And things haven't changed much from when they were just lil' grumblets.

Snorpy has always had his big imagination, aswell as his nervous outlook. That's done nuthin' but grow over th' years, heh-heh! He's always been interested in inventin' stuff, too! I may or may not have sparked that in him, hehe~

Floofty's always been a bit.. "cold," as some have called it. They aren't a mean grump, they're just not the best at social situations. But really, who in this family IS? They've always had their love of science, even from before them and their brother were handed over t' me. I just helped 'em indulge in it a lil'!

So, all n' all, they haven't changed TOO much.

Can grumpuses have animal-like ears? Or is it just me?

As far as I am (and many, MANY other professionals are) aware, no. No, grumpuses do not have animal-esque ears.

We simply have ear-holes, on either side of our heads, like a seal.

Alot of us still have horns, yes. I just... don't. It's a genetic thing.

But yes, it was more common back when we were quadrupeds.

(after reading the response on if grumps lower jaws move) grumps have pouches?

Yes! Grumpuses have three pouches actually! Two in the mouth, for storing food and snacks, and one on the stomach, usually for holding eggs and grumplings.

Though, usually only AFAB grumpuses have these stomach pouches. However, intersex grumpuses can be born either with or without this pouch.

Everyone has cheek pouches.

Do grumpuses have moving jaws? I’ve only seen grumpuses move the top half of their heads when they speak, so I’m curious.

Our lower jaws are actually secured in place! Therefore, our upper jaws do all the work. This is to make it easier for us to consume any large meals.

Back when we still hunted prey like wild animals, this was so we could more easily swallow prey.

Also. Easier access to cheek pouches that way.

What's your favorite fun fact about grumpus biology?

Hm.. that is certainly a good question.

There are so many interesting, random facts about us, our anatomy, and our evolution... It's quite difficult to pick just one!

Hm.. well, one of my (many) favorites is quite fascinating! Did you know that once, many, MANY years ago, we walked on four feet? We were quadrupeds! However, over the course of many years, we adapted to walking on two feet, and became bipeds.

However, walking on four feet is quite easy. I've found, and quite a good workout! A very fast way to get around, aswell.
