this morning was different. She felt exhausted, as usual, but this also felt earlier than normal. She was woken up differently too. Rather than the three beeps that were loud enough to make her mildly annoyed, the lights were put onto full brightness. Her eyes hurt, so she's donning her goggles, sitting up on her bed by slinging her legs to the edge of it. Something was definitely off this morning. She's rubbing her aching eyes with a low growl, eventually grabbing her goggles around her neck to pull them on. Her eyes blink slow, the infrared vision she boasts now regulated and not so.. painful. Nine yawns as she stands up now with a stretch for her arms, legs stretching themselves out by taking turns.
She was waiting for the food that never seem to come, for the water that never arrived. Where was her daily routine? Not here. She was so fucking hungry.. She hasn't eaten in so long.. Something was.. wrong..
Suddenly the door for her cell is slid up, revealing an agent in those iconic red shades and a few grunts. Maybe it was bath day? Had she forgotten her days? No, no she didn't. "What.. are you.. doing..?" She questions as they approach, one grunt holding her muzzle while the other dragged her twelve point lock harness. And upgrade from her usual six point.
They got tired of her constantly breaking the six point anyways. "You've got some early testing." Says the agent while the grunts approach her cautiously. They've seen what she's done to grunts, and they don't want to be another meal for those jaws. But she's compliant, crouching down with her hands going behind her back.
"Why.. so early..?" Nine responds before the muzzle is strapped snugly to her face. Her jaw rolls itself from the left then the right, the cold metal rubbing against hot skin. "Don't know, just here to lead you to the chamber. Don't try anything, these tranqs we have now will put a fucking MAG to sleep." The agent retorts threateningly, holding up the pistol she hadn't seen before. It looked large for a pistol, and the syringe in it looked even bigger.
When the harness was strapped onto her, and her arms were forced behind her back, the grunts were off to likely go clean something while the agent nudged her along. She walks slowly, ducking under the doorway's frame so she doesn't hit her head into the sharp metal. She's quiet the entire time she's walking, but her golden orbs are watching the area around her.
It wasn't as familiar as she thought it was, therefore she was on edge. She could feel her nerves being jittery, and how her heart pounded harshly against her chest. This wasn't good that it was new, new meant something different, which was never good for her. She didn't like new and how it always had something painful instore for her.
But she merely goes along, mostly since she has nowhere else she could run to. If those tranquilizers are as strong as the agent said, she'd never make it to the first door. Speaking of doors, she's finally led up to one. There's a red beam that hums with electricity as it scans both her and the agent. Soon after, the door slides up, and he simply undoes some of the harness behind her before shoving her in.
Normally they at least take it off.. But it's okay, she removes it rather easily. She simply lets it fall onto the floor, and so does the muzzle soon after. The moment that comes off, the lights flick on. They were redundantly bright, but thankfully she had her goggles. However, what caught her eyes, were the ledges that peppered the walls, and levers were resting on some. Peculiar..
Then she's hearing a whirring noise and a slot in the floor opens up. What is sent through it looks to be a grunt, then another grunt from another spot, and another.. The first one had a knife in his hand, the other held a bat, and the last one had a sword. Oh.. she understands now. It was fast food today.
She can feel her claws come out from her fingertips, licking at her teeth as the grunts approach. She could smell their fear, fear that presented itself in the form of sweat, and pheromones. She's licking her teeth and lips again before darting forward. The grunt with the knife was unfortunate enough to be grabbed before he could move, claws burrowing themselves into the top of his head.
Nine clenches his fleshy skull oh so painfully tight, blood squirting from the immense pressure. Then she lifts the squirming grunt up, tearing her teeth into the left side of his head. The chunk comes off with strings of viscera still connected, muscle and tendons stretching before snapping as blood is sprayed onto her face and some of her torso.
The experiment pulls hard and snaps the veins and viscera, pulling the chunk into her mouth to crunch down on it. The chewing it gory, brutal, and down right repulsive. The grunt holding the bat could feel his queasiness returning, but holds steady. He takes the opportunity to charge forward and swing, the bat connecting into her stomach.
Or so he thought.
Her right hand, which was free, had caught the bat. Just as she tossed the gored body aside. Her grip is so strong, she's splintering the wooden bat by pure grip alone. She uses the bat to pull him closer, colliding her head into his to smash the skull open in a bloody spectacle. Bone fragments fly everywhere, and blood pours freely onto the floor after she drops it.
She's turning to the other grunt, her mouth curled into a sickening grin with flesh of his dead comrades stuck in her teeth.
Just one left.
He was pleading with her as she approached with the bat in her left hand now. The sword had been dropped, but she simply continued to grow closer and closer. Something how he looked.. terrified, begging.. those were the grunts that always had her thinking. Why did she feel some remorse when they were this scared? She liked it when they fought back, not when they sobbed and quivered. She felt her heart thrum against her ribcage, and she paused.
Did she really want to kill this one? He looked so.. scared. More than the usual she means. Her eyes drift to the bat, then to the grunt contemplatively. "..no.." Nine murmurs, and she simply tosses the bat away. She comes closer now, kneeling down to take the hands of the grunt in one of hers. He seemed.. grateful. But when she helps him to his feet, she felt a searing pain burn into her left leg.
It almost crippled her, and when she's looking down she's seeing her blood be spilled from where both her medial and later ligaments for her knee were sliced apart. And the culprit was yet another grunt.
He had snuck in, and lifted her mane that was hardly considered hair up enough to reach her knee. Or the back of her knee. The grunt who had been pleading now adorned brass knuckles, taking a good and quick jab to the left of her jaw. It was an impressively hard blow, and Nine is reeling back.
She's breathing harshly and yowls when too much weight was put on her injured leg. They toyed with her, they played with her emotions. Soon every breath is now a growl, and she could feel her anger boiling over the top of her metaphorical pot. Her lunge was not at all hindered by the rather severe injury. In fact, it seemed to just fuel her!
Meaning the grunt who had sliced her open, was snapped up in her jaws by his face. The poor guy.. It always seems to be the face with her attacks. Most of the time at least.
But anyhow, she tightens her jaws to tear the skin and meat from his body. It was an absolutely violent sight, especially how some of the skin hung from her mouth along with strings of disgusting veins. Nine swallows the mouthful soon after, and throws the body at the remaining grunt with enough force to knock the man over.
Was this what she wanted to do? No.. but she needed to survive, and this was what she needed to do to live. To survive. And to eat. The grunt had just gotten the body off of him when Nine came tumbling after. She's practically flopping onto him, claws digging into his chest with her jaws ripping off chunk after chunk of his head.
It was absolute savagery for no reason other than anger and a primal urge. By the time she was done? His head was in meaty bits all over the place, and she was left with blood literally all over her face. Even bits of his skin and flesh clung to her sticky, blood coated face.
Nine slowly stands up from the mangled corpses she created, looking around the test room. She didn't even use the ledges, and she wondered what the levers did as well..
But it looks like her interest is answered when she could hear the sound of clicking, then mechanisms shifting. It was muffled, but she could hear it better than any normal grunt. When she finally sees the origin of the lever pull, it was yet another fucking grunt. These guys were really starting to piss her off.
The room is shifting and eventually the middle of the room is opening up wide. What is now entered into the room is a MAG agent, and she.. well. This was not what she wanted to fight today. But he wasn't armed.. How odd. She lowers herself back onto all fours, bones and joints twisting so she could better stand like this.
It was gross to hear, but it wasn't a long procedure. And soon after she was running forward with the MAG agent rushing towards her as well. Was this it? Would she die today by this? No, she refused. She's been through so much already..
But then she felt yet another painful burn in her lower abdomen, along with another lever click. She took a moment to look, seeing that a sharp, metal pole was sent through her back and exited through her said abdomen. It didn't stop her, but she wanted to know why this was apart of her test. Were they pushing her? Were they purposely torturing her? She didn't know anymore.
The woman jutted a hand out when she came back around, grabbing the pole just before leaping upward. As the MAG agent tried to catch her, she plunged the pole into the head easily. Of course, that didn't kill him. She made sure to twirl around the pole to avoid grasping hands.
Then she began to burrow. Claws ripping the clay flesh apart while the MAG was helpless to get her off. He must have been a failure, because they wouldn't let her get this far. But anyhow, she plunged a hand deep into his head, tearing out hefty pieces of brain matter that made quick work of the MAG.
It was pathetic, giving her a defective MAG to fight. She knew he was from how slow it took for him to process she was ripping his fucking head open. And by the time he did realize, it was too late and now he was on the floor dead.
She stood on top of the body, breathing heavy as her eyes glaze over. Despite all the brutality she did, she felt awful. She didn't want to kill that grunt, but he played her, he fucking toyed with her. But now, here she was, alone again.
She wasn't sure where that grunt pulling the levers went, but he had vanished. And then she hears a door opening, followed by the metal clinks of her harness and muzzle being picked up.
She hates new things.
