spoilers to the TADC finally

the finally was pretty good so dont take this as wining, kinger is still married to his wife so im happy. but there are 2 parts to the finally, the part about jax was subtle but over all a well made story that I only have 1 complaint about, the second main part is cain (yes he didnt stay dead) and thats where the show feels rushed and lacks closer making cain feel more like a good ending to jax and the crew then there own fleshed out character in this episode.

so basically jax was emotionally abused after there parents divorce and when they tried to come out as queer to there mom they where yelled at and did something they regret possibly killing there mom and ran away from home. they end up in the AMAZING DIGITAL CIRCUS before they find out about there mom being fine and treat TADC as a world of no consequences and escapism, while the IRL jax moves on gets an apartment and comes out technically making jax trans (the soma theory was also cannon). But when ribbit finally makes jax feel comfortable enough to open they close back up and double back and start using toxic masculinity as a shield slowly neglecting and abusing his friends. jax basically killed there best friends with abstraction and after becoming attached to pomni and seeing the death of cain they decided that they should be there last victim and separated themself from everybody else and died off camera. this is my mane complaint about jax in the episode that the last character to abstract didnt have anyone see it, sure I can understand that none of the cast got to see it in person but I wanted to see it from jaxs perspective during the flash back sequence, beside from that good show and well written ending for jax. now I could argue that jax in TADC is trans /not trans because they did have there egg cracked but they chose to die in there shell rather then hatch, now this doesn't excuse abuse and ive seen some people say that jax was abusive and everyone forgave them and they got away with zero consequences, but they hated themself and basically kill themself over it, so I think jax had consequences other then the whole killing there best friends thing that happened.

cain my autistic bean they showed the ground work of there redemption in small details during episode 8 but they didnt show a lot of distinction from cain, abel, and bubble, and in this episode they showed even less giving little to no closer to abel/bubble and gave no build up to his separation from abel. abel witch should be justified in there hate to both humans and cain kind of gets all the blame last second and chucked out into the void as a way to give up power and and its never told to the cast how he gave up that power or why he snapped just, cain being generally sad apologizing and giving a good ending to the cast. cains part was very pretty and explained alot about how TADC worked but didnt lead up to his struggle with abel at all focusing more on the cinema of the journey and the brain scans then the people behind those brain scans. they did not give alot of details on the people that abstracted (beside jax but cain didnt know that yet) making the past dev characters feel flat and have no closer either. but theres worse ways this could have been written the main 2 things I would have wanted would be how he came back to life and escape the trash bin, and showing his struggles with fighting abel and learning how to forgive the humans first before asking for there forgiveness. cain still got a happy ending at the end of the day though and had some cute seances at the end

still its a good show and it could have had a way worse ending then this in my opinion
