Callum could talk for England. Or more accurately lie for England, he has a bright future ahead of him as a Conservative MP.

I decided to change things up with how I do paneling and color correction. Callum is one of my favorite characters to draw purely because of how dramatic and expressive he is. At this point he’s the only one Ash is truly comfortable being herself with in the Arcanus, so I  love showing their dynamic. Thank you Jo for giving me wonderfully cinematic scripts to work with.

Meet Callum Finch. The Arcanus’ resident Legal Expert, Demon and Personnel Resources Department (it’s HR but includes non-humans). Message from the writer: When the idea of doing a comic turned from being the occasional goof into reality, one of the characters I was most excited to write for was Callum. To anyone who knows me that’s no surprise, for everyone else; I enjoy playing verbose dickheads. Someone who will absolutely insult you to your face, but is able to dress it up in flowery words. Which is Callum to a tee. I also go a little bit overboard when writing for him… Sorry Madd I absolutely love drawing Callum. I can literally  draw this bastard all day every day, and I shall! I’m still trying out new techniques and and coloring methods so hope you guys like my experimenting....

Episode 5 is up and we finally have PLOT. Arcanus members must do a debrief after missions, and this is Ash’s first one. She’s not great at explaining things and gets a little too hyped about fighting monsters. Did I mention this is her first job ever? Her interviewer’s name Mikhail by the way...
