Schrödinger’s Log, Entry 1.

I awoke in a dark forest, the sun bore down from the sky casting shadows across the forest floor. I took a moment to appreciate the beauty, before realizing I had no idea who I was or how I had arrived here.
The dirt around me was stained red with blood, as I searched my surroundings and my person, I discovered an ID hidden within my coat. It was marked under the name “Schrödinger” that name didn’t feel right for me, but I had nothing else to go by, so I accepted it.
It marked me as working for a company by the name of “Limbus Company” which itself at least sounded familiar, I couldn’t recall much, still can’t. All that I can remember is the name “Dias” it conjures feelings of betrayal and anger within me, I haven’t the foggiest clue why.
Soon after, I was found by a man going by Orpheus, he seemed to know me, and was expecting me. As if he had ventured into the forest specifically to find me, he took me with him to this odd land-boat sort of vehicle, within it was a group of twelve people I was informed I was meant to manage.
As far as I can feel, I’m not much of a tactics guy, but I’ll do my best to ensure they won’t perish, if nothing else.
Which brings me to the final thing I was informed of, my abilities. I can prevent the deaths of my “Sinners,” so long as when they would die, I don’t look at them. As long as they rest and stay out of my line of sight, their wounds will begin to heal themselves. Quite interesting, how in the hell did I even get that…?
And this box, I can’t bring myself to take it off, and anytime someone else tries I’m filled with panic and pull it back down before it leaves my face exposed.
I’ll write more updates in this journal later I suppose, perhaps it’s irrational, but with my memory in it’s current state, I fear that I may lose what I currently have as well.
