“Yeah, I think I’ll pass on that Madz” Brody sad as he went back to his work, writing notes in his book and trying to ignore the girl that sat next to her.

Maddie’s smile deflated as he completely shut her out. She was definitely hurt by his words and his actions. “Really? So you’re just going to shut me out of your life because I won’t have sex with you?” She spoke defensively, “Wow...” she shook her head, and got up from beside him and went to the line up to grab a coffee, so she could quickly leave.

  Brody quickly removed his hand and went back to his books, “Okay..that’s cool”

Maddie sat there, and felt sorry about the fact that she’d had a boyfriend. Though they were long distance right now, she still had to be faithful. She smiled, “Hey, we can still be friends.” She smiled.

“Are you still…single?” He asked, licking his lips slightly and looking nervously down at his hand.

Maddie looked at him a little surprised, “Oh.. uh,, no.” She spoke lightly.

“Since you disappeared, I needed something to fill the void” He teased, placing a hand on her leg and smiling at her, “Are you…still…?”

Maddie gave him a look, “I barely disappeared, I went to live with my family.” She chuckled, and then looked down as his hand touched her leg. “Am I what?”

Brody laughed, “Always the tone of surprise with you” He teased as he sat back down and pushed out the seat next to him for her, “I don’t know, too early to tell”

Maddie smiled at him and chuckled as she sat down next to him, “How long has this study streak been going?” She asked, looking over to see what exactly he was studying.

"Yeah…I’m trying this new thing called actually studying" He chuckled as he gazed into her eyes.

Maddie looked at the table he was sitting at that actually had a textbook and notes. "Wow... you really are." She smiled, and looked at him. "That's really awesome.. how's it been going? Has the studying been paying off?"

Brody couldn’t resist standing up and pulling her into a tight hug, “I’ve been okay, how about you?” He asked still holding her in the hug.

Maddie gasped as he'd pulled into a hug, though it felt nice. She wrapped her arms around him and hugged him back. "I've been good." She spoke and pulled away chuckling lightly. "So.. do you come here often?"

Brody looked up from his book and gasped, “H-hi” he said with a smile spreading over his face.

Maddie chuckled as he'd gasped and pulled a piece of hair out of her face. "How've you been?" She smiled, and than looked around the place they were in. "Do you come here often?"

Maddie looked at him after almost a year of being apart. "Oh.. wow.. Hi." she smiled.
