Emma 2: I have to tell you something Paul, I'm not the real Emma.
Paul 23, trying to decide if now is a good time to tell her he killed the Paul she fell in love with:
Here's a fun Easter egg
Wayward Guide podcast episode 1:
Solve It Squad:
My main takeaways from this:
1) Artemis and Paul drove through the same place as the Solve It Squad
2) Andrew and his boyfriend Gas Man work at the gas station together
Just a fun little thing I noticed :')
IMPORTANT NIGHTMARE TIME EPISODE 2 CONTENT WARNING PLEASE SHARE
Big content warning for eye horror in Forever and Always during the bar scene. Starts when Emma grabs the pool stick.
the tin can brothers know how to provide proper lgbt rep
here we are with two projects where one of the main characters is a wlw, and one where both the protagonist *and* the antagonist are mlm (plus at least one side character is confirmed mlm as well), and yet in all three cases it’s not a defining personality trait.
with saf, it becomes relevant not because of the lavender scare and mass homophobia during the cold war (although that is a constantly looming threat without mention), but because the way that owen and curt’s relationship ends becomes genuinely detrimental to the health of both parties (see curt drinking himself half blind, and owen turning into a murderer). because it is important to know just how close they were so that the ending just gets you that much more. it’s not posed as a personality trait in this show, rather than an element of craft.
with the solve-it! squad, it’s mentioned so briefly in passing that it really isn’t relevant at all that esther is a wlw and her girlfriend is polyamorous (or just cheating on her boyfriend idk). it’s just a ‘fun fact’ type scenario.
(i’m not spoiler tagging this next bit for wgftue spoilers because it’s public knowlegde)
in wayward guide! artemis is a confirmed wlw, but we only know that because they told us outside of the show. it is not even suggested in the least bit in the first episode unless you count some body language. the story is about connor creek, not artemis’ sexuality, and although it might be too early to tell, i think they’re gonna do a great job with this, as usual.
tl;dr the tin can brothers do lgbt rep the right way
Tin Can Bros (est. 2014)
Back from not posting for a while to say Nickelodeon got me
Honestly, 2020 is so wild, I wouldn't be surprised if a meteor crashed into a theatre, bringing with it alien spores that cause the apotheosis, making people sing and dance like in a musical and being mindless alien slaves...
And it wouldn't be the worst possible outcome
Starship is the story of a trans guy who is surrounded by supportive peers who don't really understand him and therefore are unaware of when they're being insensitive. He meets this girl who has no idea he is afab and they fall in love immediately, the one problem being that she is transphobic, just because of the way she was raised and the society she grew up in. He goes to great lengths to pass as male, which makes him feel happier as a whole and he makes new friends, but eventually the time comes when his love finds out he is not a cis guy, and she realizes the error in her ways and learns to love him even though he is trans. She realizes it's not as big a deal as she made it out to be, and once they finally know the truth about each other they fall even more in love and live happily ever after.
You take away the bugs and Starship is just the story of a trans guy finding love, accepting himself, and his family accepting him.
I've gotten like 3 new followers recently, just want to apologize, I'm into community now so it might be a while before I post anything Starkid related
Me, a non-theatre person, watching you all talking about how you’d willingly get infected so you could sing and dance like they do
Everyone reblogging this to reaffirm their stance that they’d willingly get infected… You’re bold. I can respect you sticking to your guns. You’re still nuts, though.
look…. homie…. sometimes i just want to leak blue goo from all of my orafices
Not really focused on Starkid right now, but I feel bad about not making any content so if anyone has suggestions you can ask and I'll try my best to do them!

Hey so uh I made something today
It didn't turn out the best but like at this point I'm too worn out to care.
Also I'm posting 2 different versions, I was considering only posting one but for some reason it made me feel dishonest so y'all get both versions
Here's the picture with a blue filter:
Aaaaand here's the picture without the filter:
So uh yeah the thought behind this was "what if there were a bigger stage production of tgwdlm?" I'd imagine during Inevitable the infected would have a cool quick change into these sparkling blue suits and ofc with Paul being the leading man he gets a cape, a tophat, and a cane because JAZZY so this is what that'd look like.
I also have some set concepts that I'd like to share with y'all someday but for now you get this.
