We are so excited to welcome Edgar Perdomo, master tailor, to our growing list of talented instructors at MADE. Edgar, born and raised in Guatemala, started sewing at the age of 6, in his father's tailoring shop after school. Learning the "Old World" ways of hand tailoring, Edgar learned a tradition of garment making that has all but died out in the states. Edgar continued his education at a tailoring school in Guatemala, before deciding to learn the more modern aspects of garment making here in the U.S. at Philadelphia University. Edgar's passion and eye for excellence in his craft are truly an inspiration. If you have any interest in how beautiful garments are made, join his class. You won't regret it!
