The total pledged donations to run4paws will be shared amongst three rescues in the GTA. These rescues will use the funding to provide vetting, behaviour rehabilitation, and to pull more dogs out of high kill shelters in North America. The only a reason these dogs are in these situation is due to irresponsible human decisions. We also have the power to be apart of the solution . As you may know or not this coming July 16, I will run an Ultra marathon of 55km in Iceland. I started Run4Paws to raise money for Toronto Humane Society, Speaking of Dogs Rescue, The Animal Guardian Society. These rescues will bring more dogs in foster care, and save more dogs from high kill shelters across North America.. My goal is to raise $55,000 for these rescues. I hope you're excited to help in anyway you can, donating, sharing on social media or telling friends and family! Thank you for being a part of my a journey and helping dogs ! A year ago today I could barely run 1km without stopping at least 4 times to walk! It's amazing what you can achieve when you shift your mindset. #run4paws #nikedog #nikewomen #nikerunning #compoundeffect

Introduction to this Vulnerability series:
The daring ability to know that vulnerability is uncomfortable, Â itâs a challenge, itâs raw, it tests us, and leaves us questioning ourselves and our decisions. The courage to know that only when we show up, and be seen, authentically, we can then find true connection, authenticity and worthiness.
âVulnerability is not weakness, and the uncertainty, risk, and emotional exposure we face every day are not optional. Our only choice is a question of engagement. Our willingness to own and engage with our vulnerability determines the depth of our courage and the clarity of our purpose; the level to which we protect ourselves from being vulnerable is a measure of our fear and disconnection.â Brené Brown
The inspiration for this project came a few years ago when I stumbled across Brené Brownâs TEDx Houston talk. It unraveled my view on the taboo feelings of shame, scarcity and vulnerability.  On this day two years ago I took these photos, and after two years of fighting vulnerability and uncertainty daily, I have decided to share them.Â
( I am currently looking for more models to take part in this series, please contact me if intrigued.)
