Today wasn’t as awkward as I thought it would be.
That’s good. But why did you think it would be awkward?Â
I had done something that I'm not really proud of; but it had to happen.
I did something and I didn’t want to face up to it.
Innocent little Madeline did something interesting? I wanna know.
Innocent? Yeah, right. I just, well I slept with someone.
Today wasn’t as awkward as I thought it would be.
And why would it be awkward in the first place?
I did something and I didn't want to face up to it.
Today wasn't as awkward as I thought it would be.
I totally understand.
I’ve never done something like that before. It was kind of a rush.Â
I bet.
Niki! That’s so devious! I hate to say it, but I’m proud of you.
Yeah, thanks. I’d normally never do something like that, but he totally deserved it.Â
I totally understand.
Yeah.
Well, he came over Friday to make brownies, and I miiight have put some MiraLax in his.Â
Niki! That's so devious! I hate to say it, but I'm proud of you.
Yes.
So, you know how Justin was a complete asshole to me, right?
Yeah.
Not really, I have been a little out of it.
Want to hear something kind of hilarious?
Yes.
That’s good. Not much, to my knowledge anyways. Though, Mr. Taylor may not be at school tomorrow, for whatever reason he has.
Have you talked to Justin at all? I know he was a little preoccupied on Friday.
Not really, I have been a little out of it.
That’s good. How was it?
It was really good, actually. Distracting. What did I miss?
That's good. Not much, to my knowledge anyways. Though, Mr. Taylor may not be at school tomorrow, for whatever reason he has.
I just spent the weekend at an out of state spa with my mom. It was totally magic.Â
That's good. How was it?
It’s just a feeling.
There must be a reason though.
I did a stupid thing and now I really don't want to deal with school tomorrow.
Why Him? || Self-Para ||
Maddie looked at the e-mail she had; she reread it, for probably the thirtieth time. “Why Mr. Taylor,” she said aloud.  She racked her brain for all things that she could be sent to his office for.  But, as she thought about it and how she was going to go about it, she sighed, closed her laptop, and looked at her phone.  Maddie saw the time and set her head down on her desk. She stood up and walked to her closet skimming through her clothes, trying to find something that could actually work for her.  Finally deciding on a white dress with sleeves, white shoes, purse, and bow she got dressed.
Maddie sighed as she started doing her hair, remembering her brother, Dylan, is home; she thought what he was going to say about her outfit, not that she cared.  She heard a knock on her door, “Come in!” She yelled as she got the curler hot.
“And you’re all dressed up to see me off.” Dylan said as she turned to face him. Maddie face-palmed, “You’re not, are you?” He asked her sitting on her bed; she shakes her head looking up at him.
“I’m so sorry, Dylan. I completely forgot, with coach and practice and now with this thing with Mr. Taylor. “ She sighed as Dylan frowned. "I really am sorry, I've been too preoccupied and it must have slipped my mind."
"Yeah, okay." Dylan said as he got up and walked to her door, "I thought more of you, Elizabeth."
"That makes me feel real good, Troy." She said sarcastically, turning around so she could do her hair.
As Madeline got up she remembered her phone; grabbing it she slipped it into her purse while grabbing the correct shoes for the outfit in which she had chosen. She smiled as she looked herself once over in the mirror. I hope this works, she thought to herself as she walked down the stairs of her him into the kitchen where she grabbed a water and a pop-tart. She kissed her mother, father, and brother on the cheek as she left. Maddie had always wanted a Mini Cooper when she was younger and when she turned sixteen her mother and father got her one, when she saw it she was beyond happy.Â
Maddie sat her purse and her stuff for school in her passenger seat. She almost knew that her dress would get her in trouble, for the sole fact that it was too short and Madeline also knew that she would have to go to Mr. Taylor's office, which she was more than ready for. But what she wasn't ready for was the actual task, she looked the part and felt the part but she just couldn't bring herself to even think about it. Not that she really wasn't used to doing this, it started happening a lot since she got into high school, but somehow it never got out what she had done. Which for her, was good, Maddie could almost never keep a secret, let alone one like this.
As Maddie got out of her driveway and down the road towards that school, she saw something very peculiar, Mr. Taylor straightening his tie coming out of his house with a girl behind him. "Well, this just got a lot harder." She frowned because she didn't want anyone to know about her secret, mostly because it would not only make her look bad but make the other person look bad as well. And she feared that people would think less of her if it did get out.
Maddie arrived at school a few moments before Mr. Taylor got there; she sat in her car waiting for him to go into the school. When he spotted her, he waved at her, like the nice, good principal he is. She waved back with a fake smile on her face; when he did finally walk into the school she sat her head on her steering wheel and groaned. Looking in the mirror she fixed her make up and applied a little lip gloss; she fluffed her hair as she checked the time, she was going to be late if she didn't hurry, but that was her whole plan, be late and get in trouble.Â
Madeline grabbed her stuff and got out of her car. As she shut her door, Mr. Taylor came back out, "Good morning, Ms. Cox." He chirped, as he walked by her.
"Good morning," Maddie choked but covered it up by a cough. She started to walk away, but something pulled her back so she couldn't. Maddie furrowed her eyebrows until she realized what it was, she unknowingly wanted Mr. Taylor to see her so she could be sent to his office right away. She tried to make herself looks busy, as she heard the bell ring, fake gasping and such.Â
"It's not like you to be late, Ms. Cox," she heard voice behind her say. "It's also not like you to wear a dress that short. Now, tell me why you would do two things that's not like you on the same day." She soon recognised the voice as Mr. Taylor.
"Oh, uhm, felt a little risky today, I guess." Maddie replied, turning to face him.Â
"I'm sure you know where I would want you to go, right?" He asked, crossing his arms and frowned at the girl in front if him.
Maddie nodded and turned around thinking That worked better than expected. She opened her car door and set her notebook in the seat then closed it. She looked up at him and he motioned for he to go in front of him. Maddie sighed and walked to the front of the school and through the doors. The secretary of the school furrowed her eyebrows at Madeline. It wasn't fairly uncommon to see Maddie at the principal's office, she often helped out, but to see her with the principal behind her, that was highly unusual. It was something that she would've been particularly frustrated over, but at the moment all she could think of was her secret and the mysterious "X" person.
As Mr. Taylor and Maddie got into his office he closed the door behind them. "Madeline Cox, captain of the cheer team, known popular, and a smart kid, why have you decided to act out?"
Maddie sat there for a few minutes thinking of how she was going to say her excuse and how she would be punished if she actually said what was on her mind. "I don't know, honestly. I felt that I needed to do something bad, for once in my life, Mr. Taylor. Don't you understand?" Maddie exclaimed, getting up turning around and fake crying. She pushed up her boobs up; after she turned around she saw he wasn't buying any of what she was selling. "I'm sure you've heard some stories about me, haven't you?" She asked, walking over to his chair and sitting on his desk. "I hate to say it, but some are rather true and others are false." She places her hand on his arm, rubbing up and down.Â
"Ms. Cox, I don't know what you are trying to do." Mr. Taylor's voice comes out strained.Â
Maddie rolled her eyes and went to lock the door, "Oh, I think you do. See I've had my eye on you since I arrived here at Hollyville High, but I was always so shy and meek to do anything about it." She turned to the man and smirked, "All those short skits, tight tee shirts, and such were all for you." Her subconscious was screaming at her to stop, but little Madeline was already in too deep to quit. "You really think me volunteering to help you was out of my heart?" Mr. Taylor, now hooked on Maddie's little show, nodded. "Right, sweet little Maddie, always helping out and never talking back. Right, more like, little Maddie always knows what she wants; and usually gets it too."
"Maddie, I haven't a clue what you're playing at. Why don't you go home and change then come back, no punishments." As he was trying to reason with Maddie, she was walking over to his desk. Maddie placed her hands on his desk and bent over, boobs in full view.
Madeline laughed, "Right, I go home and change, get a note from you saying whatever it is that you would put on there and we forget that it ever happened?" He nodded at her words. "Uhm, no, you see, I'm wearing all this for a reason. And you, Mr. Taylor, are the prize. Well, you and something rather important." She smiled and walked to his chair and turns it towards her.
"I didn't know you could be this assertive."
"You don't know a lot about me, Brandon." She smirked and hopped back on his desk. He furrowed his eyebrows at her. She rolled her eyes in response. Guess I'm going to have to be more blunt. "I want you, Mr. Taylor. I really do." This probably isn't what X was wanting, but it'll have to do. Maddie thought as Mr. Taylor got up and placed his hands on either side of her. Maddie smiled as Mr. Taylor leaned in and kissed her.
Mr. Taylor took his hands from the desk and placed them on her hips pulling her forward. She smiled and placed her arms around his neck. This so worked.

About an hour later Maddie walked out of Mr. Taylor's office, flattening her hair. She smirked at him and waved goodbye. Hope you're happy, X. She thought as she was walking to her car. She may have looked happy and proud, but in reality she was very disgusted with herself. Moreover, she couldn't help but feel a little dirty. She got into her car so she could go home and do whatever she really needed to do.
I have a feeling Monday morning is going to be extremely awkward…
Why?
It's just a feeling.
