Long time no post!! I tend to forget to open Tumblr these days :') Anyways, I'm currently developing an graphic illustrated romance story set during the Indonesian struggle for independence. In other words, around the same time WWII was happening, for the westerners. Here's two versions for a promo cover I did.
The story focuses on the characters of Dara Waloejo, a Bandung-born native nurse, and Karel Vennemans, a local teacher born to a Dutch father and Javanese Priyayi mother. More can be seen on my IG account.

Long time no art!! Decided to redraw Anton and Sophia but in a historically "accurate" style. It's difficult to tell exactly when PL takes place, but I like to assume that Anton and Sophia could meet anywhere in the 1860's or 1870's since allegedly the PL games took place in the early 20th century based from a source I read once. So I drew them in 1870's fashion! Also, did you know that Anton's surname, "Herzen" is likely inspired from the German word for Duke ("Herzog")?
