i hate to beg for help, but i have no idea what im going to do. my major coping, and only source of social interaction, is the internet. its where all of my friends are, its how i cope with my depression, and its how i keep myself from suicide. i need it to function. Something has happened, I beleive my grandma forgot to pay my bill, and now i’m just screwed. she says she doesnt have the money, and the letter says i need to make a payment of 158.44 TODAY or i will have my service terminated.    “PERHAPS ONLY TEMPORARILY SO that I could rest while I charge…” Or if he wanted to be alone THAT badly but even that’s a rare occurrence. “But forever? I’ve never considered doing that, that’s for sure… Mm, why do you ask, DARLING? Is something WRONG…?”

This was harder than they thought, but no pulling back now, it seemed. 

“Maybe? I’ve been wondering about this for a while, but it shouldn’t be a problem to do so, right? Not saying I would, mind you, but.. I wouldn’t really be missed. Alphys still has my blueprints, right?” They hesitated, hoo boy, it was feeling like a mistake to speak up now.

“If anything like that happened, she could just build another me, right?” A glitching effect was present in their last few words, stuck between whether to say it or just stay silent.

Two Left Treads (Closed RP @Mettatoniic)

It was a hesitant decision to meet up with Mettaton that day. A lot of forethought went into it, yet anxiety still lingered, skittering around on their motherboard and sprouting second thoughts. Yet the robot stood strong, for they knew if they couldn’t even handle learning how to do this, they’d never achieve their dreams.

It was with this resolve that Retraton’s treads whirred down the hallway, their large monitor and chassis turning left and right to look through the doors in search of their friend. It took a moment, but after shifting into reverse they were met with his image, and Retra turned into the room.

A meek, yet pleased voice called out for him. “Ah! Mettaton! I’ve been searching everywhere for you!” They stated. “I actually wanted to know.. do you know how to dance, b-by any chance?” They inquired, a ‘(;＾◇＾;)ゝ’ emoticon showing up on their screen.

   METTATON IMMEDIATELY DROPPED whatever his attention was focused on at that moment from there being a mentioning of his name from behind him. His entire screen turning yellow as he spun around to see his good friend ( & assistant ). “RETRATON! DARLING! Of course you’d be looking for me! Is there something I can do for you?“

  METTATON went silent while listening to his friend’s question, his screen remaining blank as he thought thoroughly for an answer ( but lets’s be real, no real thought had to be put into this ). “DANCING? Oh, sweetheart, that’s one of my very famous TALENTS! Of course I do!” He says this while a heart appears back on screen as he wheels closer to Retra.             “There’s no one else I know that can dance BETTER. But why do you ask, DARLING?”

That was a quick response. Mettaton was always good with people and conversing, but it did feel nice to have their boss answer them so quickly and warmly. His response didn’t surprise Retra all that much, as they did know about Mettaton’s ‘sick moves’, especially since they had to be watching every show they were helping with to do their job properly, yet it was a good way to get the conversation rolling.

“Oh you know it’s just Retra with you!” They commented, one of their tentacle rubbing the back of their monitor in an embarrassed manner, their friend was too kind.

The screen on Retraton was now an ‘☆ヾ(*´▽｀)ﾉ’ emoticon was displayed. “That’s great to hear!” They declared, completely forgetting they’d have to explain why the robot asked, for they assuming that the next part would just happen.

With less ease than the last transition, their monitor glitched out, static replacing it for only a frame before a simple ‘(´*﹏*`；)’ emoticon took place of the old one. “Ah-haha, well, you see.” They stuttered, trying to approach the subject. “I was kind of hoping you could try and teach me how to dance, maybe? C-can’t be a one trick pony forever, you know!” The nervous robot gave an even more nervous laugh, afraid that Mettaton would find it weird or improbable that someone with a tread for a single foot could dance.

Second-Hand Friends (Closed RP @OmgBrattyOmgCatty)

Retra was a little nervous, they were meeting their aunt’s friends for the first time after all. The noodle-y robot was originally going to have a much needed day off, but when Alphys asked was busy and asked so nicely, Retra was helpless to refuse. That and the fact that the robot owed her for spotting a bit of rent money, and they wanted to get that off their conscious as quickly as they could. 

Curling up a single tentacle, they gave a knock on the door, calling out after the door was left unanswered for a while. “Hello? I-i’m sorry that my aunt, Alphys couldn’t make it, but she sent me so I could help with your problem? She forgot to tell me what is was you needed, though..” They commented, hoping one of the two would hear that and let them in.

“It’s okay!” called a voice from around the corner “The door is unlocked! You can go through the house if you want; or just come around the side into the back.” There was a low booming sound followed by laughter, and then shortly after by cursing. Two voices, both female. Whatever it was they were doing it sounded slightly dangerous.

The noises that came from the house gave Retra a nervous chip on their shoulder. Nevertheless, Retra willed themself through the door, relieved they weren’t met with the source of that boom from earlier. “What are they doing...? Are they scientists as well?” They wondered, finally stumbling upon the two after a moment of wandering in the house. “O-oh! Hello! I’m glad to see you’re both alright, that loud bang was... concerning.” They mentioned, hoping that they’d let the robot in on what that actually was.

They had never been asked to exchange numbers before, and usually only had the essential’s in their own contacts, so this came as a bit of a pleasant shock to the mechanoid.

Their screen’s emoticon changing to ‘ ヾ(＠^▽^＠)ﾉ’ before they responded. “Oh that’s a great idea! My phone is internal, however, so I’ll just tell you mine, and then you tell me yours!” 

In their excitement, they bent down and held their tentacle ends up to Frisk ear and whispered their number.

[*Frisk perked up attentively, quickly punching in the numbers on their phone as they heard them. It wasn’t even a second later they were already texting them – for the sake of testing whether they could send them one of course.]

“Did it work?”

It was only a moment after Frisk pressed send that the robot’s chassis vibrated somewhat, notifying them of their message. They read it, and a little robotic giggle came from them. “I dunno... does.. THIS answer your question Frisk?” They mused, quickly sending a reply.
