"Oh -- I -- ah, yes, Sire, my -- my apologies. Please, forgive me. I will work on approaching the main subject of conversation more promptly in future whenever I speak with you." 

"Oh -- of course, Your Majesty! I will bring whatever findings I have to your premisis the second I so much as -- well, actually, no, I'll study my findings first so as to ensure I'm not simply bringing you useless facts and wasting any of your time, of course, so -- the second I -- the second I come across information directly regarding my concerns I will, of course, immediately bring them to your attention, Sire. And -- my name, Majesty, is Milo. Milo Thatch. It is an honour to -- to command your attention for so long. Thank you."

It was simply out of curiosity that I was checking -- and wouldn't it have been terrible if I'd discovered there was something irregular with your respiration --  but, no, I assure you good sir, your breathing is absolutely -- positively -- perfectly normal." 

"I -- I didn't interrupt you, I do hope?"

"Excuse me -- if you don't mind -- did you -- poverty? Why might one choose a life of poverty, Sir? Oh, and to answer your question -- quite well, thank you, though I must say I'm somewhat unsettled by the prospect of... wandering, as you put it -- do you not think perhaps -- if I'm not being too insistent -- one should have a home base? For security? Perhaps just the emotional kind, as, in reality, it may be less secure indeed to have a known residence..."

"Oh, I -- I apologize, I thought I would go unnoticed. I was attempting to measure your respiratory activity as I'm attempting to discern any -- oh, apologies, allow me to give you some distance."

"Strange shifts? Hm…alright, you have five more minutes. Explain."

"Oh, stars -- thank you, gracious King, thank you. I believe -- I have been monitoring the behaviors of the tides and the tectonic plates and, well, you know, simple things that we all keep eyes out for, and all has been the same, Sire -- that is to say, it's as is expected, what with the Lunar cycle and the fault lines that we reside upon, of course. What is strange is that the mechanical scales I have set up have been -- well, they've been off, Your Highness, flickering around like mad things, and at first I thought -- I thought something terrible, but upon analyzing my findings, I found the results only spiked in such a way when there was human life close by. Do you not think -- I mean, this is strange, my King, because -- human energy does not interrupt these sorts of scales. And so I believe -- well, I wonder what your thoughts on the matter are, Sire."

"Okay, look. You have wasted exactly twelve and a half minutes of my very important life. Do you think it is simple to run this kingdom? Do you imagine I do it with a wave of my hand? Because if that is the case, you are mistaken. Now, make your point or I will have my guards escort you out.”

"Your -- My -- King, Highness, no, of course I do not think -- why, I'm sure your job is very complex, more complex than I myself could ever possibly conceive, and you see -- this is why -- I thought that perhaps, some insight, or, perhaps just my hunches, could be -- beneficial, so that you would not have to -- to -- well, Highness, my greatest apologies for any time I have wasted. Deeply, I am sorry. I merely mean to say -- well, I cannot quite articulate, apologies, but -- perhaps, some -- curiousity -- I mean to say..."
