To all who wished me and my family well during these hard times, I can't thank you all enough. It all meant the world to me and still does. Though I make this post to share some rather.. personal and tragic news. My grandmother passed away early this morning in her sleep. I am still processing this, especially the fact that her condition declined so rapidly.. It's going to take quite some time for me to recover from this emotionally and mentally. Though I will still be here, I need the mental escape here more than ever. I just apologize if I come off distracted or distant.. I never lost someone this close and dear to me before.

I know I'm not the sort to share much about myself, especially things of the negative nature. It's just I hate the idea of bothering other people with my problems. Though I felt that this is something I needed to share since the days ahead are uncertain and I don't know how I'll be mentally coping with it. I felt those that follow me deserve to know if I vanish without saying anything all of a sudden.

For the past 17-18 years I've been taking care of my grandmother after she had fallen and severely injured her leg, which resulted in the limb being mostly paralyzed. Over the years I had lived with her while taking care of her with all sorts of things, despite other health problems that arouse over time. Each time she had managed to bounce back and recover the best she could. This is me talking about surviving lung cancer (which the tumor was surgically removed), a broken hip, and so on.

For the past two months she has been in and out of the hospital, her condition rapidly deteriorating with no clear explanation as to why.. She became severely confused, stopped wanting to eat, and for the past two weeks has been mostly asleep. Despite me doing everything I could to beg for any and all tests and possible solutions, it's reached a certain point I was informed today that there is nothing else the doctors can do and she won't regain her sense of self. Her health won't get better, there is no bouncing back this time..

So what's left is hospice care at home, where she can hopefully be comfortable for however long she might have. They have no clear timeline for that, which makes the future incredibly uncertain. So if I seem off, distracted, or not really responding/replying, I apologize for that. This has been a lot for me to process today, let alone the two months of multiple hospital trips and ER calls.. I do apologize if what I discussed is triggering for you but I just needed to get this out there somehow. To write out my thoughts.

I am happy to admit I love Tokyo Mirage Sessions.. I'll have to replay it sometime because it combined two of my favorite game series~. Plus, now that I think about it, some mechanics make me think of Persona 5. Like the more open world feel to it and so on. Very fun series, check it out.

Great. Due to this slip of the mouth, Shinjiro knew what Nix had worked hard to keep secret. Now he wasn't letting it go and was stating the obvious, things that needed to be said regardless. What the silverette did was extremely reckless, especially considering the unique condition of his arm. Both of their tempers had flared up because of this incident but Nix did take a moment to take a deep breath to calm down a little.. Well as much as he could really. "I obviously wasn't going to forget about this injury! It's pretty hard to miss, Shinjiro.. And I try to keep an eye on my arm the best I can because I can't feel with it!"

Sure, things like paper cuts did avoid his notice at times until seeing the blood. In truth, it was something Nix was still adjusting to the best he could and was taking it day by day. "Was I reckless this time? Yes but at that moment, I cared a hell of a lot more about your well being than my arm!"

He had no idea that Jingo had been dealing with a slew of dog-related comments until now. All the individual was doing was giving respect where it was due, being polite as he was raised to be. Besides, it wasn't as if Jingo did anything to deserve being treated rudely. "I don't believe I've seen you around before but I'm glad we ran into each other now."
