One brow rises, eyes narrowing as she takes in the news, the temperature seemingly lowering inside the room as she finally speaks. “Hm, shame.” He was hiding more than he lets on, that she can pick up on. She doesn’t need the sensitive hearing of a Witcher to notice that. “Is the monster still loose in the castle or have they finally put it down?”

If not, then there is the possibility of earning some more coin. Picking up the mug in front of her, she downs the entire drink in one go.

Taking a seat at the bar, the witcher nodded in the direction of the owner. “A drink would be nice for a start.” She placed a few coins on the counter. “And then maybe you would be so kind to fill me in what’s been going on, this whole place is in a tizzy for something or other.” She picked up on a lot of whispers in the streets, but her hearing wasn’t as sensitive as other witchers, all that she could pick up were ‘king’, ‘death’ and several other words.

Sera managed to make through the experiments with a limited amount of physical mutations, the only prominent feature being her milky-white eyes, which usually results in some issues due to assumptions made by others. Obviously the biggest issue is that when they see her eyes, they automatically think that she’s blind, but that is not the case. She can still see, just not in the ways that normal humans do.

Sera can see both in infrared and residues of magic. This helps her a lot in identifying different mages, illusions, etc. Of course the side-effect of this is that she cannot discern certain physical features, instead relies a lot on her other senses and remembering the outline of various people & creatures.
