Rain Check Dates; Christian & Maggie

He smiled at her. âI will try to visit. I mean I have been there before. But it has been a while. And you know what. I would love to visit with you. See Florida with someone who was once a native there.â It was cute. The ways she flushed when she mentioned going to the state together. He had wanted to say something similar, and was glad that she had thrown it out in the world first so that he could agree without seeming creepy, like men often seemed to be. And it was the problem because he liked to get attached quickly and keep on being that way.Â
âAlright. Okay,â He said shrugging. She seemed uncomfortable, but he was not going to mention it either way. âThatâs fine. And I might grab something later. Iâm fine at the moment.âÂ
Maggie had to wonder if things seemed rushed to Christian? How they had met, how they were on a date even now. Did that mean they were actually dating though? She felt like such a child as these thoughts flickered across the back of her head, mixed in with several otherâs that were mildly inappropriate. It wasnât like she could all out ask him personal questions like that but at some point it would probably be brought up, right? âAre you sure?â The girl asked finally, tilting her head. The more she thought about it the more she kind of feared him getting to know her. It wasnât easy, admitting to having a problem like the one she had, but then again more of then not she completely dismissed the problem as if it didnât exist.
âOkay. Well.â She turned her head, looking out at the crowded pier and wondered what would come next. Maybe they should try playing a game or riding something? âHereâs another question, what do you want to do next?â Maggie asked then with a smile, turning back to him and meeting his gaze briefly before pointing her gaze towards everything around them. âYou pick, I promise I wonât say no.â
