Before he could continue, reality starts to bend, a barrier forms around them. Familiars start to appear and approach them.

Shit. They were already inside the witch's barrier. This wouldn't normally be a problem, but Celes had dead weight with her. Then again, she couldn't just let Ishimaru die here.

"Stay close," she ordered, taking out her soul gem. "And tell no one what you see here tonight." 

With that, she transformed, her outfit becoming even more fanciful and her whips appearing around her.

Celes gave her soul gem a distasteful look. It had been glowing brightly, but all the black jewel had led her to was an ordinary-looking group of high schoolers. With a tap, she transformed it back into her claw.

"Ishimaru-kun, Kirigiri-san. This is a surprise. I haven't seen you out at night during my walks before."

Turning to the unfamiliar girls, she greeted, "Ah, and two new faces. My name is Celestia Ludenberg. May I have your names?"

Ishimaru walks within the darkened halls of the school, patrolling every corner for any sign of witch activity. His soul gem detects a strong wave of magical activity and he goes off in a rush to find the source. He turns to a corner and finds Celestia Ludenberg instead.

"Ludenberg-kun! I must question you on what are you doing here in this hour of the night?? Don’t you think it’s dangerous to be wandering alone??!"

Quickly pocketing her soul gem, she greets the hall monitor with a calm smile. "Hello, Ishimaru-kun. I did not expect to see you here at this hour...don't your hall monitor duties end with the school day?"

"Do not worry about me. I was simply...looking for something."
