Placing his headphones on carefully over his ears, Yosuke pulled his iPod from the pocket of his jacket and turned the volume up as high as it would go, hoping to drown out the noise of other people as he passed by.
It was his second day in Aphrodite so far. Most of the first was spent unpacking and helping his parents organize their new home, and he figured that today would be the same, but his parents practically insisted that he got out and explored the area and met new people. He'd only huffed in response - he'd given up on trying to make and keep friends a while ago - but quickly gave in, to try and keep them happy. A little while of wandering around to get his bearings, and he could go back and tell them what they wanted to hear. What they didn't know wouldn't hurt them, after all.
It had been about an hour since then, and Yosuke had somehow managed to make it to the central area of the city. More importantly, he'd also apparently gotten himself lost. Being too busy listening to music, Yosuke hadn't paid much attention to where his feet was taking him like he was on autopilot, and he was only just now starting to realize the predicament he was in.
Suddenly standing still in the middle of the street, he reached up to pull his headphones down once more, glancing around before letting out a small groan.
"Crap."
There was no way he'd be able to find his way back without some help. It seemed as though he'd have to talk to someone after all.
