*When you come to find him fae is in the same place that you left faer. Yeah sure he walked away for some hours, but aside from that he had waited for you there to make sure that you could find him*
*He was asleep when you arrive, the container was next to faer with only one single bug left, and a half-eaten evil cookie on top of it*
- @evilfairyrulie
[They approach you from the forest this time around, humming a song, so you can tell they’re coming. They peek around the tree you’re sitting at, studying you for a second before waving.] You know, you didn’t just have to stay here! I did put a spell on you, didn’t I? Oh well, you’re here now.
[They come around to sit next to you, legs crossed, and they stare at you with a too easy smile.] Now, what was it that I needed you for again? Something about being the first one to be tested on my current project, yes?
*As you speak he slowly wakes up, half-focused eyes turning to look at you* Huh? You finally appeared... I think, yeah
*Fae moves to sit in a more comfortable way* You said something like that the last time, yeah... You sure were busy then
I sure was! Plenty of things, plenty of things… I am a busy person you know, really just always! Not much time for anything off-schedule. But, I managed to get here, didn’t I? Counts for something! Anyhow…
You want your magic back, correct?
Mm, I suppose it does... *If you were this busy and decided to take time to come and find faer, then you might be true to your word*
Y-yeah, yes I do, I still have that possibility right?
Correct! Though, you’ll be the first subject. Lots of things could go wrong! A lot of things. Your biology will most likely be permanently changed no matter how this goes, and theres a possibility for your mental state to also be altered, with extra… Everything, really! Or things could be dimmed, since the summon I’ll be combining you with won’t have the capacity for emotion. Could go either way!
[Subtly, they cast a spell. In your state they doubt you can tell, but it’s good to have verbal confirmation recorded just in case you die!] Would you still like to go forward with it, even knowing the risks?
Oh... Well, stuff can't go worse... *Faers own body sometimes doesn't cooperate, the lack of magic has made everything more difficult, besides if he says yes he'll be useful for at least a last time*
I'll go forward with this, I'm aware of the risks but I'm not worried for them
[They nod, and cast off the spell.] Oh, how professional! Now, questions— History of drug use? Alcohol? Any medical conditions that might react badly to pure summon magic? Any medical conditions at all? Please list anything that I need to know so that the chance of harm is reduced as much as we can get it! Anything major or minor, anything at all.
*He was taken by surprise by the sudden wave of questions, thinking a little faers answer*
Well... Haven't taken any drugs, neither alcohol-- okay maybe a little but that was years ago and it sucked-- I don't think I have any? If you count my legs being a pain in the literal sense and my arm being useless then there's that
[Mentally, they note it down as they nod along.] Alright… It’s possible the chimerism process could affect that, either make it better or worse, though I can attempt to aim the construction of the summon to help you in those areas, hopefully reducing your pain and possibly restoring some of your arm as well. Though, theres a chance it wont work, but the worst that could happen if the proper precautions are taken is a neutral effect. Thats what should happen anyway!
Hm, anyhow… What magic type would you like? I specialize in light summons, but I’m proficient in most other areas as well, such as nature, sea, earth, whatever you can think of, chances are I can get it done!
*The possibility of maybe getting better physically wasn't something he had in mind, but now it would be great to have that... although the possibility of it getting worse wasn't that attractive either*
Any type really, I don't have any preference, but... Something close to nature or fae magic? That was what I had before *Fae isn't sure if faerie magic can be replicated, but nature magic is similar enough, no?*
Hm… Perhaps a mix of a more divine version of light mixed with mostly a nature magic base… Oh, yes, I can do that rather easily! Wonderful! Now, to begin the summoning process, I’ll need an object. Something you wear, preferably, and keep close. Or I have a few spare necklaces or bracelets if you don’t have anything on you! But, either way, this object will be extremely important to you. Your life will be tied to it, perhaps permanently. So choose something wisely!
*An object to be tied to?... He doesn't possess that much currently--*
I think I have something *Fae takes out of the magic bag faers cane* Could this work? I'm already meant to have it with me all the time so... If it's mandatory for it to be jewelry then I'll take one of your spares
[They eye the cane for a second or two, before smiling and nodding.] Oh, yes! That’ll be perfect! Summons take after their bonded object in one way or another, so it’s possible that this would help your physical state even more than expected! Less room for a negative result, too.
I’ll need it to actually do anything, though. [They hold out their hand towards your cane with a slightly uncanny smile.]
*Oh that was good, maybe he truly could get to walk normally soon!*
*... Fae didn't like how weird your smile seemed, no weird wasn't the word-- but whatever fae doesn't have the brain power to worry about that*
Alright... Take it *He puts the cane on your hand, Sky worked hard on it... But fae doubts it will get any damage, probably*
[They do, rather easily and without much care. But still, it’s not like it could really get damaged when all they’re doing is placing it in their lap. For now, anyway. They turn the cane over in their hands several times, really getting a good look at it. Well, it’ll be rather easy to infuse with heaps of magic, if a bit exhausting, but that goes for all summoning processes.]
[They take a second to situate themselves, before taking a breath.] This might take a while. [Then they close their eyes for focus, and even you can feel the huge influx of magic coming from them. They draw it from the environment, mostly, but that environmental magic needs something to cling to. Hence using their own as a base. Infusing an object with so much magic that it creates an entire avatar from the residual magic is a very intensive process after all, and hand. But they’ve done it before, and so, they’re rather used to it. And they have more than enough magic.]
*He stares as you work, even if fae shouldn't be able to fae can feel the amount of magic that you're using... Which, for that to happen, must be a lot*
*How would the summon be? How would fae be after this? You said that in the worst of cases it could just go neutral, fae hopes that at least that's the final result*
[As the process continues, you can start to see what looks like magic cracks appearing on the cane. Sort of cracks, anyway. Either way the material doesn’t break, nor does it even seem like it will. Theres just so much magic being thrown into it that you can start to see the effects.]
[For them, they have to start concentrating just a but harder to make sure the magic doesn’t rip apart the can you gave them. That would just be a waste! It needs to fuse nicely, otherwise this wont work. So they continue in silence, barely moving besides a change in grip or a shift in expression.]
*He got a little worried for the cane when the cracks started to appear, in theory hawthorn wood was slightly resistent to magic, that didn't mean that it couldn't be affected at all... You look like you know what you're doing though, so it must be alright*
[Minutes pass where nothing major happens afterwards. The only thing that you can see start to actively happen is the intensifying of the magic glow. But otherwise, it remains somewhat constant.]
[What you can’t see is the increasing amount of effort it takes for them to continue what they’re doing. After a while passes, a few drips of pure liquid magic fall from the cane from the cracks. It’s a bright colour, but also soft— An earthen, glowing shade of mixed greens. Where the drops fall, it almost is like the grass looks healthier.]
