why is harvey dent so rarely portrayed as a genuinely good man with good ideas who actually wants the best for gotham as a politician. why is he the main fall guy in comics when they need a Bad Politician. there’s so many characters you can use for that. why make harvey dent a racist or a fascist or a gentrifier. he’s SUPPOSED to be gothams apollo. idk. i feel like it’s lazy to use harvey for the role of an evil politician

For context, Harleen was released from Arkham and went to buy a dress. After being treated horribly by everyone, she paid for the dress but left without having the security tag removed. The alarm went off and when she saw a guard coming towards her, she had a mental break. Hijinks ensued. Bruce spent the entire day helping her.

I cannot stress this enough: BTAS was the show that created Harley Quinn. Decades later, she's one of the most iconic characters in DC, but the animated series was the foundation of her characterization.

Does anyone else hope Harvey Dent is a big part of The Batman sequel? I don’t even mean Two-Face, but a whole movie where Harvey helps out Bats and we get to enjoy the two of them working together as a team.

I think it would be really interesting - and make it more tragic if they eventually do want to include Two-Face, because then the audience is seeing what they’re losing.

But I think there’s a lot of potential there, especially in showing their friendship, and Harvey already struggling against his worst instincts and teetering a little. But considering how the last movie really explored Batman learning to let his guard down and be more empathetic - I really want to see his circle of friends expand in the next film!
