The elf was writing some things down while on his day off of work.  Even when he’s not working he finds a way to not leave his job.  Some say he’s a workaholic others say he’s just obsessed. . .truth his he’s lonely.  He knows why he’s lonely and Iselmyr knows why he’s lonely but. . .Aloth can’t do anything for fear of being run out again.  It’s very double edged.  Sloth looks up when someone approaches him.  “Can I help you ?”  Well so much for not working.

· .｡.:*☆ “Alright,” the witch nodded, still eyeing the stew. “Can you show me the recipe, please?” She was not the most talented cook, either, but at least knew a few things from always having to feed herself and her brother back home.

The elf goes and tries to find it.  Nope that’s a fear potion. . .nope that’s a poison. . .and another poison. . .and another one. . .you know potions are really useful for enemies but now that he has no use for them people will think he’s insane.  “Ah !  Here we go.” Cyran hands it to her.

             jack hadn’t felt this lonely since he had first wanted to give up his crown back home, even though that had been so long ago, that loneliness felt more familiar to him now than anything else had. he wandered the streets, unfamiliar to him and cold. perhaps he needed to make a change? maybe he needed to finally reach out, cure this aching feeling in his bones and embrace the world that he had been thrust into? with slow strides he approached the stranger, held tilting slightly before he looked up at the sky, the sun shining behind the clouds as the wind blew against his skin. “the sun is very deceptive today, isn’t it?” he said, referring to how cold it was, despite the shining sun.

The elf tried to cover himself up as best he can.  Cyran is still isn’t used to the cold; One would think since he traveled to Dawnstar and Winterhold, which in his opinion are the most extremely cold and corpse preserving paces a lot he would be able to tolerate it. . .well that is farther from the truth.  “Annoyingly so.”  The elf says.  “The cold and me don’t quite. . .mix and the sun is giving me false comfort.”

Dream books? Goofy wandered if this kid was an amnesiac who was getting memories through his dreams. He’d met a lot of people during his ten years in Limbo. “There’s a good, uh, dream book in the self help section.” Goofy said, not wanting to impose but… well, he was Goofy. 

Regulus raises an eyebrow at that.  How did he. . .”Self help huh ?” How did they miss. . .oh right the impending sensation of not wanting to get anyone’s help that’s why.  “Well. . .thanks.”

sirius squinted one eye closed, and then the other one, face drawing in tightly. “reggie,” he finally muttered out, stretching his arms up over his head, like pulling that forward had taken physical effort. “and he’s a right prick.”

Wait. . .really ?  Regulus never seen himself as that really ?  Sure they don’t remember really much about his home life but. . .Sirius was the only thing remembered so that means they must’ve had a decent relationship. . .right ?  “That bad ?”

“Maybe you’ve done enough of that. I certainly have,” he muttered, then downed half his pint in only a few large gulps. “But it seems like I’m drunk enough to entertain the idea. So, what, you live in the woods?”

“I just got here a few minutes ago I don’t think I drank enough.”  Cyran definitely needs to to get through this conversation.  “Divines no.  Not a Bosmer.  I live in an apartment building like a normal person here.”  Though granted the Isles were more countryside then this but still not really wooded.

sirius seemed a little bit taken aback by that. he leaned harder against the wall, full back to it now, so that he could consider this. “oh. that’s… totally not a common name. in fact, i’m the only sirius black that i’ve ever met. because my bitch mother really did hate me from birth, didn’t she? uh, sorry. no, yeah, that would be weird, wouldn’t it? i do have a brother.”

“Is your brother named Regulus Black  per chance ?”  It better be or else Regulus is truly going crazy.

“Alright.” Goofy nodded and went back to his comic, but he couldn’t help but keep an eye on, and listen to, the guy muttering to himself. He wanted to help, but it seemed this guy didn’t want to be helped. He’d keep himself open and available though.

“This is stupid. . .shouldn’t be looking for dream books.”  Reggie sighed to himself as he picks a random book to pretend they’re doing something.  Regulus keeps glancing at the male who keeps glancing back to him.  Just ignore it and maybe he’ll go.  Regulus doesn’t need help. . .but do they ?

“you’re lookin’ at ‘im.” if it hadn’t been clear before that not all of sirius’s mental faculties had been accounted for, it was now. he leaned against the wall just a bit so that he could see the guy that was in front of him straight. he had thought that that would help, but it didn’t seem to. so he squinted, but it still didn’t get any clearer. well, that wasn’t a completely uncommon occurrence, and he wasn’t too worried about it. “unless black owes you money. in which case, he went out the back.” sirius laughed at his own joke.

Regulus rolls his eyes.  At least the quips he dreamed of still remained.  “No Black doesn’t owe me money. . .though I’m sure he does someone somewhere.”  he muttered that last part to himself.  “I ask because. . .well I have a brother named Sirius Black and you look so much like him. . .”

@magickhearts​ (brothers black) this apartment building was getting smaller by the day. sirius had taken to wearing headphones whenever he was in the building just so he wouldn’t have to hear people clomping around and moving furniture from all directions at all hours of the day. that was the main shit point about working the night shift – no one had any respect for people who were still sound asleep at one pm. so it made sense that here was sirius, taking the trash out at eight am. he’d only gotten home a few hours previous. there was a little sway in his step. he was visibly covered in glitter, particularly in his thin beard. if one thought that this was bad, they would be horrified to see his sheets, or his shower floor. he was on his way back from the chute when he shoulder-checked someone in the hallway. this was a pretty regular occurrence, so he didn’t think much of it. “sorry, mate.”

Regulus was reading as they walked.  Sure walking while reading is dangerous but. . .really Reggie makes sure no on’s around when that happens so it never had a problem.  Guess this time it worked against him because their shoulder shoulder checked someone.  The student sighs, about to tell him off when he gets a good look at the face.  It’s so familiar like he’s seen it before.  Could it be. . . “No no it’s. . .Sirius Black ?”

Nothing interesting today. The people of this town were by in large boring and too easy for him to figure out. Sure he treated the garden variety anxiety and depression to pay the bills, but he yearned for a challenge. At least the inmates at his previous job were lively. He sipped his tea thoughtfully. This town was certainly a strange place and he ran Arkham. There had to be someone here who had been dealt an unfortunate hand that actually had unique problems. Perhaps he had been spoiled in Gotham City.

Pokerfaced as always, he sat back in his office chair and looked blankly at the door. “Next patient, please.” he called out.

Aloth was whispering to Iselmyr when he entered.  He’s going to embarrass himself if she acts up so she needs to please work with him.  The elf gracefully sits down, under on how to start.  “Hello.”  That’s a good start.

Goofy was looking through a comic book, smiling about the fictionalized versions of himself and his friends. It was so strange being in this world, where his exploits were immortalized in cartoons, comics and books. He frequently asked Donald if he actually looked and sounded like that, which always got a ‘yes’, and Donald would always get defensive when Goofy pointed out he sounded exactly like his cartoon counterpoint when they weren’t human.

He noticed the boy mumbling to himself, “Are you alright?” he asked, trying to be helpful.

Dreams, dreams.  Nothing on dreams.  What kind of library doesn’t have dr. . .actually it makes sense but still it’s annoying.  When someone addresses them, they turn to face time.  “I am perfectly fine thank you.”
