"Momo... Am I right to assume she is your sister?" Kristian inquired with a smile. It was rare for him to genuinely feel what he was portraying, but it really did make him smile to hear Yuzuki talk about her sister. Hearing about healthy sibling dynamics, especially one involving a sister of some sort, was Kristian's soft spot. They never ceased to remind him of his sister. "That's very sweet that you two did so much together. I hope you are able to return to her." And he meant that. Her sister must really be missing her right now.

But that's enough of the sentimental talk.

"Thank you! I'll be sure to let her know that you think her name is pretty," Kristian continued with a laugh. "And yes, we are very close. Our older brothers were never exactly kind to me, likely because I am the youngest son... So I didn't want the same fate to befall my sister. I made sure she always had someone." That, too, was the truth. It was rare for Kristian to be genuine--not that anyone else knew that--but when it came to his sister, he always meant every word.

"Yes! Momo-nee, she's my older sister by a few years," Yuzuki happily tells him, "It's funny...My name means citrus and her name means peach." She can't help chuckling a little bit, it's a strange thing but it's also a small part about herself and her sister that luckily came back to her during her stay at NRC. The conversation is getting her a bit more comfortable...She isn't gripping her gloves tightly and her posture is slowly relaxing the more she spoke to Kristian.

It seemed speaking about her sister was the best ice breaker for Yuzuki to get more comfortable in speaking with the upperclassman.

"Momo always made sure we hung out together when we could," Yuzuki also added, "She had her friends and I had mine...But we always had time for each other. It's good that you do that for your sister too."

Yuzuki's dance style is freestyle.

She doesn't have formal training, but she does have a good memory and can easily copy choreography by viewing it once. When she hears music that makes her want to dance, she will dance regardless of who is watching her.

"Heh...I'll be careful."

It wasn't easy climbing up here, with the lack of magic and broom Yuzuki had to relay mostly on her light frame and light feet to climb up the narrow staircase that was hidden and slipping through a window before climbing up a very old narrow stairway. It seemed the pathway had been forgotten, lack of use evident with the cobwebs and dust she had seen as she carefully came up.

It wasn't her original plan to come up, but she had spotted Malleus from below after leaving classes.

She had recalled hearing Sebek and spotting Silver following after him yelling for him...It didn't take her long to piece together that he had left the two and was taking some time with himself. Time she had hoped she wasn't intruding on, but she did want to spend a bit of time with him...Was that strange?

Either way the magicless student took his offer and began to carefully maneuver around the tiles and stones as steps until she found a good spot to hold on to. Fingers gripping on the edge and hoisting herself up, Yuzuki let out a huff as she could feel her knees hit the cold roof tiles yet she only gave him a smile.

"I hope I wasn't bothering you...I noticed you from down below."

Suddenly, the merman skidded to a stop. Her offer seemed to pique his interest… Honestly, it wasn’t too difficult to sway Floyd, as long you know what you’re doing. Offering him a fun alternative to whatever he was doing often worked, but it was always a toss-up of whether or not he would be interested in what was being offered to him. Or… You could make a deal with him and do some of his work for him. That usually worked.

And, luckily for Yuzuki, it worked in this situation as well.

“Hmm~… Do my homework for a week too and you got a deal~” the eel replied with his usual sharp-toothed grin. He didn’t seem to be tired at all after chasing the human girl… But at least he wasn’t running after her anymore. After all, he could get a sweet deal out of this while letting Jade or Azul handle the task of getting her into costume~ Seemed like a great idea to him!

Were....Were his footsteps coming to a halt? Yuzuki grabbed a nearby chair, swiftly moving it in front of her as she stopped. Her left hand gripping the top of it as she weakly panted. Gasping for breath as she watched Floyd carefully with the safety of some distance still and the chair between them.

Her heart beating frantically as she slowly gulped in some air before groaning, "Your homework too?" Yuzuki didn't have much to offer to counteract that, and she was a first-year! She may have to go to one of the older students she befriended to help, but...

"F-Fine..."

How was it Floyd was not out of breath? How was he not at all winded?! Yuzuki's muscles were stinging a little as she slowly nodded before speaking louder.

"Fine, fine. It's a deal...I'll do all that just leave me alone for today Floyd."

If it gave her at least one day of peace at work, she'll follow through with the deal made between them and hope she would be left alone until the next time she worked with him.

Now the young sorcerer was slightly confused by her question. Why did she look surprised about magic being real in his world? Weren't they in a place where magic was clearly present?

Or perhaps he said something wrong or said too much.

"Y-yes? My home is among with witches and sorcerers. Is that a bad thing...?" Cassidy meekly replied, not sure what she was getting at.

"N-No! It's not bad!" Yuzuki quickly explained with her hands raised up, "It's...Magic is normal here. There's mages, this is a school for mages and there's another school too on the other side of the island."

Well...This means she was the odd one out still from where she was from.

"I'm...From a world, I guess, where magic doesn't exist," she quickly elaborated and smiled at him, "It was strange when I come here...So hearing magic exists where you're from, I guess I'm the strange one huh?"

She was acting like she was under some sort of spell. The woozy way in which she spoke, how she rested her head against the prince's chest... Honestly, she wasn't even acting like herself. Something about this felt wrong because of that. Was it improper to allow her to keep sitting like this when she so clearly could not create coherent thoughts? She wasn't conscious of her actions. Should Malleus try to fully wake her rather than allow this to happen?

Or maybe the prince was a bit touch starved in his own way. No one had ever dared to get this close to him... Not even his own grandmother was this affectionate, and while Lilia came quite close, this was different than any sort of assuring touch his guardian would ever give him. This felt...nice, having her soft head rest against his chest as he felt the gentle rise and fall of her breathing. What a strange human to be doing such a thing in his presence...but what was strangest of all was how he enjoyed it.

"Hmm... Is that so?" the dragon fae replied with a soft chuckle. She reminded him of Silver when the human was still small, constantly falling asleep around the prince. Maybe that's what Yuzuki needed--sleep... So, Malleus began to hum a song to her, a lullaby he once sang to Silver when he was an infant. Perhaps this melody would allow her to get some rest.

"Mmm...Yeah..."

Her eyelids felt heavy and she could barely fight in keeping her eyes open, slowly allowing them to fall as she lightly nuzzled against his chest. It felt...Really comfortable. It had been a long time since she was this close to anyone.

Perhaps leaning against a few friends here and there, but to be in such close proximity to someone like this felt like years. Yuzuki's memory of such closeness was of family, her older sister in particular. Yet in Malleus' lap, the warmth felt a little different yet welcoming all the same.

"...Bad dreams," she mumbled lightly before allowing herself to sigh softly as he began to hum. The tension in her body slowly leaving, relaxing as she finally allowed herself to sink in to sleep at long last without a fight. Her breathing slow and softer as she allowed herself to turn her head a little. Her ear still pressed against his chest to hear his heart as she sighed lightly.
