‘ ———–fine. where’s this place whose owner you’re bangin’, then? ‘
“Not far, just down the street.”
mcrandus:
‘ ——-what’s the catch here? ‘
“No catch, it can never hurt to make a new friend with a different skill set from your own.”
mcrandus:
‘ Y E A H, pumpkin, and are you inviting? ‘cos this is what some can afford. plus i’ve BEEN t’ more expensive places a few t’mes, they’re just foolin’ ya into thinkin’ the alcohol’s better when it’s still the same watered down shite. but CONGRATULATIONS for thinkin’ otherwise. ‘
“Why not. I know a place where they don’t water it down. I have a special relationship with the owner. He would not dare to give me, or a friend of mine watered down wine, for fear that that relationship would end.”
‘ i swear —– there’s hardly a place here that doesn’t WATER DOWN the wine. ‘
“Well, that would be because you are in the cheapest pub in town. You go to a more expensive place and the wine will be better.”
wildmcrgan:
“Well, well, what have we here?” a glimmer of golden flashes, piercing through the shadows the flames of her eyes contrast, the witch’s voice is a husky undertone in the chill of the night; cold and eerie, warped in mystery and fog much as the girl who’s chosen to show her true form, at last. The grass was sumptuous & trees were tall, her long raven tresses almost fades in the inky blackness, untamed and wild. she takes firm steps over broken ruins so she stands on a higher ground, circling through that rocky, slippery ground to perceive you out of curiosity, if nothing else. For awhile, she’s watched from a distance, wearing feathers as opposed to human skin, those same feathers that now hang from her skirt & adorn slim shoulders; sandals made out of animal leather made that stealthy approach possible, but she wears ragged clothes, a torn top with a hood and too much cleave and no cloth to cover her back, leaving any nobility in awe, surely; it was tied by a strap laced around her long neck & there was too a wooden staff tied loosely to her bare back. all which indicates that she’s not been part of civilization for a long time, if ever.
“Are you a vulture, I wonder? A scavenger poking amidst a corpse whose bones have been long since cleaned? Or merely an intruder, come into these darkspawn filled wilds of mine in search of… easy prey?” she comes to a stop— folded arms & arched brows, seemingly POSSESSIVE of her surroundings. “What say you, hmm? Scavenger or intruder?”
“Neither, my friend. I am simply a traveller who has lost her way.” While her tone is loose and friendly, Megara’s hand is on the dagger she has hidden beneath her cloak. “I would be much obliged if you would be able to point me in the direction of a path that exits the forest and I will be on my way.”
olelasanking:
Edmund might be the most powerful man in all of Olelasa, but he’s still a boy through and through. He can’t stand boredom of all things, and when it strikes him, recklessness usually ensues. “I’ll grant you five hundred gold coins if you could shoot an apple straight off my head.”
Megara laughs. “That’s an unusual answer to hearing someone say that they’re a terrible shot.”
garrett-tethras:
“ Andraste’s sacred knickers! Don’t touch that. Yes it’s beautiful, absolutely gorgeous, meant to be a ladies broach but the ornament is far more functional than it would appear to be. Touch that and bad things happen like chunks of metal lodged in the wall and the smell of singed hair - heavy bleeding - missing limbs and burnt flesh. I’ve some work to do on it still…” The young dwarf adamantly explained as some foolish person tried poking at a piece he was working on.
She shakes her head laughing at the foolishness of the person who tried to touch the object. “You would think that even the dullest of people would have the sense to not touch an unknown object.”
