While I fully appreciate people offering me kind words because something saddened me - apparently even explicitly saying you want something private it won't be kept private. People are allowed to have their preferences and other people are allowed to feel saddened / disheartened / et cetera. I can find something to be distasteful and simultaneously not want someone bullied off the internet. Next time I want to vent I will just share whatever is bothering me with my fiance, because I wholly do not support sending nasty anon messages to people. Please never do that on my behalf and in turn do not expect me to do the same. What the fuck.

That felt... Really demoralizing. It has been a long time since the rpc made me cry. I've never had anyone take issue with the way I write like that. Honestly, I'll just take a step back.

Once rot-infected, now vitality clad; the embodiment of an undying, violent desire roams through the well-worn, lambent veins of the city. Within his veins surges black ichor, it has already bled into his hollowed eye sockets to mimic the abyss of his fractured sanity. Death, once a clingy lover of his, now feels so, so far away and yet, at the tips of his claws, it remains for others to witness. Ah but no. If one stops and listens, they can feel her on their skin: grazing, biting. And if they linger for a second more, one can hear her in their minds, beckoning to the deepest fears in their hearts; whispering against the shell of their ears until he claims them. Until they realize it has been him all along.

Now, that is how humans tend to waltz to his tune. But what about that one?

Would the surface of the well-worn serenity crack even just a little bit? So that his madness could seep in through? Can she hear death's — his susurruses? Has she noticed the sanguine, thorny vein around her throat? A sneaky move just to provoke, to have a reaction that can be studied by him. Her unique beauty certainly deserves a place in his vast collection, no? / starter call , @magiclvl

Death - she is familiar with what she is supposed to hear: kill, kill, kill. Mindless and cruel. But is she not already cruel of her own volition? These threats feel empty and hollow when death nor isolation frightens her. Thus, she can feel the prodding but remains impartial, even colder than when she meets a usual stranger.

If he does not wish to play nicely, than neither does she. Humans oft have their ways of being cruel without saying a word. Maybe it's time she takes one from their book - there's a faint glint of light in her eyes and the temperature around them takes a sudden, harsh drop. Crystaline ice begins to form where dew once was on a weed jutting out of the cracks in the sidewalk.

"Do you seek to frighten me?" And, now, in the tongue of her own ancestors -humans call it the language of monsters. "If you wish to do that, you will be disappointed."  She pauses, makes a tsk noise. "You have a beautiful, strange face." In the language of humans - this country at least. "It's a shame it's wasted."

The iron clad smell of red - blood, when she's feeling less poetic. To be fair, learning the language of humans has taken her time a plenty and, well, it's fun to play with words. She follows the scent until she finds him elbow deep in someone's abdomen - it does not really matter who to her - and looks cold. Unmoved by the man's dying breaths. Unmoved by the stench of blood and snap of sinew. There's something else on the wind too, something rotten - flesh, she thinks. Looking him up and down, it seems he is the only one capable of creating that smell. The half naked man cold on the ground looks fine. "I can heal you if you feed me." Forward, her tone cool and words quick. "You won't last long rotting like that, human."

When perfection begins to rot, the smell of decay follows his each step with a yearning delight and a sneer, no? Elbow-deep, bathed in the loveliest shades of crimson, despite his very own dying pulse, the collector still can't help wanting to nestle within the soft cradle of flesh and sinew, decorated with exposed marrow, it seems. To paint one more canvas with raw beauty as his victim's spasms become the undertones. Ah, if only he could preserve the vehement, lament-laced song they were singing for him seconds ago too in its natural beauty! But oh well. His humming continues for a little while longer till the ghost of a presence disturbs his rhythm. Not that his senses have caught the wing of it yet, it is just his instincts gnawing at him. His speed is not what it used to be, after all, nor his strength, let's admit. So, he ought to heed them even dearly. He has. It may not look it but rather than pulling the successfully freed kidney from its nest, his fingers instead seek for the blade next to the fresh corpse.

Had it not been for her voice, the sharp metal would’ve found its mark—aimed straight for her skull.

But still, those words.

A laugh — a very hearty one at that — would have echoed through the breezy night air had she not poked at his darkest secret so nonchalantly. Human? Again, there is this desire to laugh, and actually, a subtle, bemused guttural sound spills from his rot - wounded lips. ❝ . . . Well now. ❞ Curious, truly so, he finally shifts away from his victim to focus entirely on this . . Ah, how did they myths go again? Elven creature? Cosplay perhaps? Or yet another living, breathing legend? Leisurely, his heads dips to one side; peering amethyst hues trying to capture each and every detail whilst his mind is busy evaluating the surreal situation he has found himself in. The deal is tempting — unbelievably so. So, a grin begins to creep over his lips.

❝ This is certainly interesting, but cruel as well, no? To spit one’s brutal truth like that, so freely, to another’s face . . . ❞ Not that he actually cares. At the moment at least. Currently, he is more interested in her and her reality. Hence his empty, blood dripping had rises to point at her first, as though accusing her. But then. It shifts to reveal his palm: acceptance, as well as an invitation.

❝ What would you like to eat? ❞

This killer intent, she can feel it within him. Most would feel terror, but to her it just feels...so incredibly normal. How boring. Isn't there anything else within him besides that? What a poor, wretched soul. She almost expects him to refuse, maybe even to attack - how many times has a blade been turned on her in life? Instead, something strange happens - he accepts. Well, humans ( however broken ) have that indominatable will that scrapes, screams, and crawls to stay alive, yes? Maybe he is no different.  "You remind me of home." She steps forward tentatively, well practiced steps just in case there is a lurking threat, and takes his hand - gentle, kind. Her first handshake. "Katsu curry...it sounds so warm. I want to try it." Faerin pauses, tilts her head. "But cruelty seems to be all you know. May I ask, does it hurt? That others receive that warmth but you are deprived? Or do you not care?"  Her hand glows a soft blue, cold and first and then a flooding of warmth. Faerin's face and eyes are illuminated as she lets out a burst of healing magic - perhaps enough to start him on his path to feeling a bit better. "To prove I am no liar, of course, but I am actually hungry. I will treat this as transactional until you prove yourself trustworthy. I also cannot guarantee this will be permanent - you have been touched by something strange indeed."

introducing. . . , Love letters , a google doc character template inspired by the holiday: valentines day! The doc holds three landscape pages. It includes spots for the profile, persona, backstory and 4 spots for additional information.

HOW TO USE ! ◞ . . . most of the drawing are made up of drawings, to make it simple, use the replace image option. There is also one quote made up of a drawing, which the text can be easily replaced for pc users. ◞ . . . the doc would look good with any kind of pictures, though I will say the color theme shouldn't be changed as the png's wont be able to change colors. ◞ . . .
