I... didn't want anything for my birthday, but he had gotten me something, as it turns out... and I didnt get him anything. I felt bad about it. But Ruru's always been the kind of brother who doesn't mind..." Despite her own attempts to cover her own problems, as well as completely ignore them, her brother had obviously taken notice, and his actions spoke loud enough that all he wanted was for her to fell better so that she might be her cheery self again. 

"But it's all right - you don't have to do anything like that. Like I said, I didnt want anything for my birthday, so just wishing me a happy birthday is more than enough for me."
