“Oh hush,” I say grabbing my hair and covering my neck up again. “It wasn’t Taylor was it?” Mckayla says with a slight sarcastic tone in her voice. “Noooo...” I say sarcasticly. “Bull.” Emma says squinting her eyes so they are piercing right into me. “Yes, the whole reason I brought up the pizza thing was because Taylor wanted to see me again, and I am sorry it took so long.” I say quickly. “I guess it’s okay as long as you got the pizza and it isn’t cold.” Emma says with a angered tone.
You sat there in silence eating your pizza thinking about the time you spent with Taylor. “Are you okay?” Mckayla said waving her hand in front of your face. “Uh, ya I am just tired.” you mumbled.”Ya... tired.” Hunter said sarcastically. You shot her a scowl. “Can we please talk about something else, I am getting annoyed of being shunned for my feelings.” you state. “It’s okay, you just could have told us is all.” Emma says sweetly.
You got done with your second piece of pizza when your phone started going off. “Taylor is calling me.” you say confused. “Hey?” you answer with a slight confused tone. ‘Hey (Y/N), I know you’re with your friends but I just wanted to talk for a minute. But if you can’t right now I understand.” he says really quickly. “Ya I can chat for a few minutes.” you say casually while walking out of the room.
“Hey I hope I didn’t get you in trouble with your friends.” he says quietly. “NO, it’s okay Taylor you have no reason to be worried or feel bad.” I say reassuringly. “Well I want to hang out with you more.” he says kind of desperately. “I do too.” I say with a smile in my voice. “Well now that I am not sitting here worrying anymore I will let you get back to your friends.” he says sweetly. “Goodnight Taylor.” I say. “Goodnight (Y/N)” he responds.
I walk back into the den and walk straight to the pizza box and I could feel all of the girls’ eyes on me. “What?” I say with a little bit of an annoyance in my voice. “Why did you have to leave the room to speak with Taylor?” Emma says accusingly. “I don’t know because everyone in this room would be bothering me while I would be on the phone.” I say with the annoyance still there. “Well was it good or bad?” McKayla asks. “It was just nothing he just wanted to make sure that we would hang out again and I said that I wanted to, too.” I say nonchantly taking another bite of my pizza. “Well that is sweet.” Hunter says giving Emma a sort of glare.
“Well with all of this accusing and bitchiness aside why don’t we watch a movie?” I say trying to lighten the air a little bit. “Well we already watched one movie without you and Hunter.” Emma says. “Ya, I know that but we have enough movies to watch for three years, so choose one and but it in.” I snap. McKayla got up and put in The Lazeraus Effect.
On the drive home it was pretty quiet between me and Cameron. We sat at a stoplight “So, do you think you will like North Dakota?” Cam asks. “I think I will, there is some pretty cute girls.” I say with a smirk. The light finally turned green and I sped off.
We arrived at my house, and got up and I went to my room and Cameron went to the guest room. He would only be staying in Minot with me and my mom until the summer is over. I liked having Cameron around he was not only my cousin but my best friend.
I got bored just laying in bed and watching TV so I called her, she answered but she seemed busy so I got off the phone quickly. The hours passed slowly and I finally fell asleep at like 3.
Thank god someone put a movie in I was about to freak the fuck out if someone had one more bitchy thing to say, I sat there being pissed off until I finally fell asleep.
Waking up in the morning after having a sleepover is nice, my mom made us breakfast she made eggs and bacon. Hunter was the last one to wake up, she always was. When she finally trailed into the kitchen everyone was already almost done eating.
“Did you finish the movie?” I question. “Ya, I was the only one who did, besides McKayla she almost finished it.” she responds. “What are our plans for today?” Emma asks. “Hm, I have work at 4 so I don’t know, I will do something after that.” I state. “I have work too,” Hunter adds. “Well i will figure something out.” Emma says.
After breakfast everyone left so I went to my room to chill out and wait until I had to go to work. Taylor messaged me. -Hey, how did you sleep? ~I slept alright, my neck kind of hurts. Wbu? -I slept okay, are you busy today? ~I work and than I don’t have anything planned. -Well we should have a movie date. ~ a date? okay at my house at 9. -See you then. (:
