More people need to acknowledge the fact that jonaeri are childhood best friends as well as lovers. Like, I know the anime cut a lot of those parts out, but it is still shown pretty explicitly both in the manga & the anime that Jonathan and Erina used to spend most of their free time with each other, before Dio pulled the Kono Dio Da move.

Give me jonaeri referencing events from their childhood that no one else remembers or even knew about. Give me jonaeri making little inside jokes that confuse everyone but themselves. Give me jonaeri knowing each other's habits and quirks perfectly, because while they may have grown up, they're still the same Jonathan and Erina that used to ride fall off wooden sleds and splash around in streams together. Or maybe the opposite of that, them being more used to each other's childhood habits & learning to adjust to fit the new habits they developed as adults. I just need to see more of how jonaeri being childhood best friends has an affect on their relationship as adults.

I have been beefing out the lore in my au, and honestly, these two are becoming a favorite to think about.

They grew up together and fell in love and got married and just had a kid and the George died just as his life was truly getting started and it makes me ill :(

First test run of my Narancia design!!! He is a mazapegul, a little elf thing with cat features in northern Italian folklore. I perhaps leaned too much into the cat part but I like giving characters animals ears and tails, as is probably obvious

His left eye is almost fully blind after that eye infection, and he’s got hyper sensitive whiskers that can sense very small changes in air pressure around him.

Introducing my official designs for Jotaro and Kakyoin in my folklore au. Kitsunes have four general forms they can take. This one is his more human foxy form. Yes he has been called a Kemonomimi before and no he doesn't like that comparison.

And this is their human designs. In this world, supernatural blood can be found in many bloodlines so seeing pointed ears is not the strangest thing. Horns and a tail however are abnormal and everyone knows these characteristics are found with oni blood, so Jotaro definitely is seen as particularly strange and dangerous.

Introducing Speedwagon in my folklore au, or at least his werewolf form. I have some fun lore about werewolves in my au, but I haven't fully fleshed it out yet. I am trying desperately to get past my art block so I can begin drawing the comic I have in mind but alas, college is kicking my ass.

I am still messing with my coloring process, and I am not completely happy with it, but I'm done messing with this particular piece.

Messy Iggy sketches in my folklore au! He is a gargoyle, a dragon with elemental magic (read: sand manipulation ;p) He can’t fly with those wings but he can glide short distances.

Also that ball he has in his mouth is Kakyoin’s fox jewel, even as a supposedly majestic dragon he is still a nuisance

Fugo wip as I try to figure out what this guy is going to look like in my jojo folklore au. I have decided he will be a tatzelwurm, a type of dragon-thing that resides in the Alps and breathes poison, which I feel matches pretty nicely. In my little world, all dragons can take a human form if they so choose which is why Fugo is looking very un-dragonlike at the moment
