I post almost every ask, even ones I disagree with, however if you send me hate or something that is obviously very bigoted I will just laugh at you. Asks I do not post are those who outright attack/insult other people or violate the rules

Sending asks directed at me is absolutely fine and highly encouraged, but I do reserve the right to not answer it if it makes me uncomfortable

I hate jonmartim. It feels so icky to me as it just boots out sasha when there's no reason not to have her included. Granted I'd rather jontimsash be more popular because it has more chemistry to me (as they've known each other for longer then being in the arcives)

Granted I kinda dont like Martin so that's probably a big feature of this opinion

there was this one time i was struggling to sleep and i felt really sad and was crying and i wrote what was essentially jonathan sims x y/n hurt comfort fanfic to feel better. at like 2:30 AM. it’s still in the notes app on my phone . i told my partner and let them read it and they made fun of me

I love Martin and Jon. Sasha is an okay character too. Tim, however, is dead to me, and I will never understand how everybody loves him so much

so in a response to the people saying that the blog that hates on martin isnt a huge deal, i guess i agree, but its just what i feel is a big toxic presence in the fandom. like the person who runs it has said to someone who said "im like martin do you hate me too?" and they said "yes absolutely no doubt about it" and even if it is a bit i just have to say whos laughing? that person said in the ask that they dont even really like themselves and the blog said "yeah i trust you on that" and i just think thats a really shitty thing to do. like i think thats just too far for a bit to go like if you make a whole blog viscerally hating on a character fine(though i do personally see it as a bit of a red flag that you have the emotional energy to be so hateful even about something fictional typically those people are also really negative in real life from experience). i havent seen a ton from the account as i obviously have them blocked, but i dont think "just block them" is a reasonable response to someone complaining about them, like how i assume "just avoid the character" isnt close to a good response to them. if it was a small acount sure, but at least for me even with them blocked it feels just like such a strong presence in the fandom that i cant help but express the fact that i do genuinely think there is at least one issue with the blog, being that they take their "bit" (i dont really think its a bit) way too far. not to mention the condescending way they respond to hate when i dont get the vibe that theyd be as alright with people going into their blog saying "aww why?" or "why not just avoid the character?" the way they do. feel like im beating a dead horse but i just dont think its unreasonable to complain about and hate the account when they're such a negative presence at least for me in the fandom. like avoiding toxic shit is of course a good thing to do but sometimes complaining and expressing about it is a good thing to do too. if you dont healthily express anger and hatred before you know it youll make a blog dedicated to being viscerally hateful towards a fictional character either as a bit or not and tell someone "if you're like the character i definitely hate you too".

I always see people saying that MAG 15 is so scary and disturbing, especially because of the recording but, I actually find it comforting.

No, I'm not an avatar of the buried or anything, I'm actually more aligned with The Lonely, The Eye and The Web.

I have no clue why I find Lost John's Cave so comforting, I just do.

It grinds my gears that the same people who are fiercely protective of jons asexuality and are the first to call out someone for not portraying it well enough are the ones calling elias "stupid twink that I want to kill" like are you supportive of queer identities or not. "They're fictional and it's just a joke" but its suddenly not a joke when it's about jon?????

similar story to the person with the vacuum incident we have a michael distortion and it has cried more than once over not being able to work our microwave. everytime it has to do anything more than press like one button it freaks the fuck out and its Hilarious. smart microwaves be damned

scrolling through past confessions because i was bored and there was one about melanie blaming her career at the institute on jon and how it was wrong and crazy and like. yeah shes wrong but genuinely thats funny as hell. my personal hc is that she knowingly blamed him when it wasnt true which is just so based like i blame some ofmy more personal circumstances on people i dont like/hate because i think its funny even if its just in my head and then even if she didnt do it on purpose thats maybe even funnier. like you hate someone so much you forget that circumstances you put yourself in are your fault and not theirs. thats just really funny. like of course jon should not be blamed for that, hes blamed for so much that isnt his fault, i feel bad for him, of course, but even so i think melanie is funny as hell either way for blaming him.

Anon who mentioned tma tagging protocol posts and hating because they don't like tmagp got me thinking. I really like tmagp but honestly it annoys me if I'm going down the tma tag and it's got loads of tmagp stuff. "tagging for reach" mate it's tumblr. Just keep your tags accurate no one cares if a most gets 1million notes or like 2. All you're doing is getting yourself blocked by people.

Can't lie, I have to respect Georgie and Melanie for Getting The Fuck Outta There in season 4 and it was entirely the right and healthy decision for both of them, and if either of them were an irl friend of mine, I'd be praising them for cutting off that toxic mess

THAT SAID I can't lie and say I don't want them to be inextricably entwined in the toxic mess of the archives to the bitter end, because I love my characters suffering (and also I want a found family :( yes I know that isn't at ALL what this show is going for, yes I know if they survived, they would end up SOOOO far from being found family, but I think they could make it work <3)
