School is a little tough and I'm not in a good spot. I thought things were resolved but my triumphant return has to be postponed a little more due to computer failures..

Her heart was often closed to others, leaving her peers with negative thoughts. Somehow, someway, this boy loved her, and she loved him. What a truly crazy thing. "Sure, i’d like that." Severa admitted, still smiling at his desperation to reach her own height. "Y-you’re kinda squishing me though.." She teased, referring to his tight grip around her. .

❝So now I have to make tactics to protect you and tactics on what we can do together..❞ His grip on her softened and then he let go after a while, teetering back and forth on his heels and thinking quite hard on this issue.

SCARLET irises widen upon realizing what misdeed morgan performed. she was albeit bewildered at the mere notion of him gifting her with such a beautiful rose… but the fact that he actually chewed && swallowed it? a sigh escaped the crevices of her lips. nonetheless, whatever the prince just did, it remained to be very dangerous. maybe he needed to visit his aunt lissa for a spell…

❝ oh dear… d-did that rose have thorns on it? there was no need to become so panicked, morgan! i’m fine, so don’t worry about the fact that you consumed my gift. i am grateful for your genuine kindness, but you didn’t have to go through the trouble of picking a rose for me… we should really get that checked out. ❞

quite panicked by the situation, cordelia realized that if she was to leave him as is, chrom and robin would definitely become concerned if swallowing the flower made him ill. however, she had to keep her current disposition. she swiftly snatched his hand && headed straight for the medical tent.

❝Ooh.. Why does everybody pick me up like this?❞

Flailing would do nothing against this armored redhead. He knew her strength and grip due to his multiple calculations and tactics based on her so there was no point in trying to resist. He ate a flower, didn't seem like a big deal to him. But.. Chrom would definitely investigate if their tactician was injured by something so trivial, especially since he was his son and all. His stupid anxious attitude gets him into trouble so much, it's always getting in the way of his plans and whatnot. He was grateful that Cordelia was that concerned about his health but even now he had no way to explain to any nurse in the ward that he was here because he placed a flower in his mouth.. That was one issue.. the other was uh.. where he was facing.

❝Miss Cordelia.. If you don't mind me asking, can you turn me around? I-I don't like staring at your features..❞

❝People wait for new kings and queens everytime one is either not fit for the title or passes the crown on, they believe in all of their royal guardians to protect them all and even though I haven't taken the throne yet.. I-I have to take care of all of Ylisse now and you're not going to take this away from me!❞

His height situation probably flew out the window when he heard that he couldn't protect everybody, something that he had doubted himself for day after day, seeing all his friends protect him during battle for being so careless in his calculations.

❝When I come back, y-you'll be the one wishing you had just killed me! You hear me?❞ His triumph was immediately stopped short by the fact that he turned around and tripped over a rock in his path. Dork.

"Wh-what?!"

Her eyes widened a bit, not expecting such a casual answer. That was Morgan for you. The ten minutes of rambling held her attention, surprisingly enough. Once he paused, she felt she needed to admit something. "I- um…" Severa took in a deep breath, not used to this whole “confession” thing, "I meant those compliments, because… I love you too." Gods, how fast could her heart pound before exploding?

❝S-so this means we can get married later! A-and I can take care of you when you're sick and stuff, and possibly sleep in the same t-- Well we'd have to.. take it slow and stuff but.❞ He hugged her tightly and started to laugh. An overjoyed expression was something that rarely was ever shown from him, especially since he spent most of the days and nights in his tent focusing on strategies when they weren't battling only to stay up for days on end taking care of other people. It paid off in the end, seeing as how she said she loved him.❝And we can go out on dates! Though.. I-I need to be the tall one!❞ He got on his tiptoes and strained himself to be taller than Severa.

Her next sentence was interrupted with a kiss. This was her first kiss, so she really didn’t know how to react. Severa probably should give the male a slap in the face, but she didn’t. "Wha- what was that about?" Was the first thing the mercenary could say after a few seconds of silent thinking.

❝Well, you complimented me a bunch and I agreed with what you said but.. I called you those things because I love you!❞ Way to say that so casually.. Having no idea what the other side of the conversation was like, he went on for minutes talking about why he felt this way and whatnot, stopping after a whole 10 minutes of rambling to see what she would say next.

He backed away a few feet afterwards and braced himself for some kind of punch or scolding from her. ❝P-people do this in these situations, right?❞
