THE HALF OF IT COMES OUT ON MAY FIRST 2020 ON NETFLIX!!
lesbians really are the most romantic little shits ever iām still crying
Me watching She-Ra and the Princesses of Power:
Did I tell you all what my mom did for me this Christmas? This was the first Christmas I spent as Peter, instead of [deadname redacted], and she went above and beyond to make me feel accepted. Every year my sister and I get a new ornament to kind of represent the year we had, and this year I got the one pictured above.
Not only that, but she also went through and changed the names on all of the previous ornaments she could:
Then, with my sisterās help, my name was also changed on the stocking Iāve had since forever that my mom cross-stitched when I was a little kid:
So anyway I almost cried making this post and I have a really great family and I hope everyone can find people who support them so fully someday if you donāt already have that ā¤ļø
For height dysphoric anon <3 i plan on getting some of these some day
my family, being depressed over my transition: itās like weāve lost you

If youāre trans and live in PA,
Ā specifically in the State College area, you should know that PSUās LGBT center has free clothes for trans people. (This includes binders.)
No, Iām not kidding.
The Transit Clothing Exchange is a program created to make getting gender-affirming clothing easier for students (and friends of students). The LGBT center is in the hub. Just go there and ask to see the Transit closet.
Transit Clothing Exchange is generally intended to work as follows: trans people bring in their old clothes that they no longer want and leave with clothes that they feel affirms them without having to pay.
Itās incredibly hard to replace your wardrobe when you come out as trans. This is especially true if youāre young or poor. The clothing exchange makes it possible for people with no money to spare to get clothing that theyāre comfortable wearing.
This incredible program is underrepresented in the area. They have a whole room full of clothing waiting to be taken and, because the program doesnāt get a lot of exposure, they actually have a hard time getting rid of it all.
Iām hoping to help the exchange get some more traffic! Itās such a great way for trans people to support each other and form community.
If youāre NOT trans and live in PA,
(or even if you are)
Please consider donating old clothing to Transit instead of Goodwill. Goodwill is affordable in comparison to Walmart, but $5 a shirt is still too expensive for some people. Put your clothing where it will help a trans person in need. Just fill up a box or bag with old clothing you donāt want and take it to the LGBT center in PSUās student hub. Theyāll appreciate it!
Please reblog this so that anyone in the area has more chance of seeing it. Share it with trans friends that you know live in the area.
š HRT ANNOUNCEMENT š
YOU NEED TO ASPIRATE BEFORE INJECTING.
Iāve known many individuals who were never told by medical professionals to aspirate, which is unacceptable on behalf of endocrinology. This is an extremely important step because if you accidentally inject into a vein, you can literally die.
āIāve never aspirated and Iāve been fineā until youāre not.Ā āMy doctor never told me to aspirateā because trans healthcare has yet to be standardized and is a work in progress. āThe area I inject in has little to no blood vesselsā but there are so many people who donāt know which areas are safest and itās better to be safe than sorry.
How To Aspirate: Stick yourself with the needle and then draw back on the syringe. If your syringe fills with blood, you need to reposition your needle. If it doesnāt fill with blood, youāre safe to inject there.
Signs that youāve injected into a vein: ā Stroke ā Shortness of breath ā Coughing ā Chest and/or abdominal pain ā Low Oxygen ā Blood clots ā Slurred speech ā Headache ā Swelling ā Tenderness
Literally just aspirate because it takes 2 seconds and can save your life.
Please share this post so that this practice becomes more common!
Well these are fun š
