ok so please forgive the inconsistent quality in these pictures, my hands are shaky and my phone sucks haha anyways as requested, here’s some body pix of kala. her torso is a new size, slightly wider and curvier than the big sister sculpt although her and clawdia appear to be the same height. her tentacles can rotate as shown in the last pic. I’m definitely excited for the possibilities this new size torso can bring, hopefully we’ll get more curvy dolls soon!

I’ll hopefully have her diary up soon! I just need to find the cord for my printer haha

New Sailor Mars doll arrival today–this one is the Irwin ‘yellow box’ 11.5″ version from 2000.  Fun fact: One of this doll’s legs is about a quarter inch shorter than the other o_O  Whether this is due to shrinkage after long-term storage in-box or a long ago factory error, I suppose we’ll never know.  Nothing to be done about it now, so I just stuck a bit of foam under her short leg so she can stay in her stand without being lopsided :p  Aside from that she is in lovely condition, and overall I think she’s very pretty.

It’s funny, I honestly never intend to do the ‘one of every Mars doll’ thing, but the more of them I get the more I am kind of fascinated by how they are all so different form one another, and yet they are still all recognizably the same character.  I think I’m getting close to completing the collection, though!  The only things I’m actively looking for at the moment are a few of the 6″ mini dolls from various manufacturers, the two different styles of 17″ Irwin dolls, and the Bandai 11″ Japanese-release Miko Rei doll.
