firstly, THANK YOU!! I really enjoy arting lightsabers, top top top fave thing about Jedi to draw. My top 3 tips are:

Always draw your the hilt first. It’ll inform everything. Grip, movement, perspective, everything.

Lightsabers a constantly generating light and colour- always always take then into account as a light source.

Go nuts. It’s a fake sci-fi laser sword, that base shape can be as wild or as clean as you like, like Jerik’s in the first example there. Saberstaff, lightwhip, cutlass, shotos, the sky’s the limit.
