Hii mootie, long time no see!!! Do you have any tips for drawing out your cookie run oc?
And also, any good tips on lore? I have an idea but I wanna hear your tips so I can make it better :3
gawd it’s been so long hasn’t it? Sorry been busy with stuff :,)
I don’t really have a step by step to be honest and follow the flow. But I can share some stuff… I think
For starters, brushes I use this brush I found on Pinterest (go figure) it’s really good and doesnt need to watch adds!
Other stuff :
Try to find a pose that can fit all the details in but also able to convey the characters emotions. For my first cookie art I had a hard time trying to figure out what type of pose Àngel would do, and spent a god chunk of my time on that. But really you just gotta know your character and plan out how they would look
While drawing make sure you know what you want in the character. Plan and list details that are important to them, what makes them unique, different, special whatever.
Just be able to be open to trial and error.. and a lot of it. No matter.
Personally for lore… yeah still working on that.. a lot. I don’t really have consistent lore for my ocs and they always have things added.. but all I can say is.. if you do have something to add. Write. It. Down. So you don’t forget.
Try to make a list about all the things that makes your oc them, and see how many or how little you have for their story. And if you wanna add, sure go ahead but make sure it’s logical and not all over the place.
But also don’t forget. Your oc is yours. No one should tell you how to do it step by step. You get to do whatever you want with them and unless it’s not weird or bad things, your doing great.
… also if you do want your oc to portray mental illness, trauma, pains and what not.. make sure you do some extensive research about said topic, to make sure your character is well written and doesn’t have a Mary sue type thing.. if that make sense…
But yeah that’s it… idk what else to say lol :,)
