Trump Wants Internment Camps

Okay so after weeks of trying to obfuscate the fact that he and his minions are responsible for separating children from their parents like it’s 1776, Trump signed an executive order to stop this inhumane act. Yes, America declared independence in 1776, but black people were still slaves #noteveryonesindependenceday. Anyway, I digress, so wannabe Mussolini’s executive order undoes something that he and his AG started. Don’t get too excited yet though. The only catch to all this? Parents and children will be detained together indefinitely. So, hello internment camps? This is absurd and cannot happen. There is no reason why families seeking safety should be detained. Isn’t this the land of immigrants? The first immigrants came to the United States to escape religious persecution and they were warmly welcomed by natives. The least that the current settlers of America can do to thank the natives who were wiped out for their hospitality is to show new immigrants the same kindness that the natives showed to the first European immigrants. So please call your congress person to make sure that immigrant families are not put in cages together.
