Athr Moonlight Crystal

So...I bought a palette.

I've been very drawn to this Athr palette ever since it came out but I could never justify the cost. This was at TJmaxx on final sale and only $7, and it's so beautiful, so aesthetic.

Not all the shades are unique and new to my eyeshadow hoard, but this palette has been super inspiring. I cannot stop using it. I love the satin finish of some of the shimmers. Bright colors can be challenging to make work in day time looks if they are too sparkly.

You can also use the taupe and gray for beautiful neutral daily wearable look. The taupe satin is a mauve duochrome, but it's a fairly weak flip. Still love it though!

Nabla Read My Mind

Loved the packaging on this palette, very beautiful geometric pattern on the outside. But the inside...wasn't sure, but wanted to give it a try.

Used the palette for about a week. Most of the looks turned out very lackluster. Pretty and subtle for everyday, good if you're in an office and just want some everyday neutrals. It didn't really inspire me. The teal blues felt out of place and hard to incorporate so I mostly ignored them.

Boo hoo, wouldn't really redo any of these looks.

Essence gloss - finished, not pictured, Newly added: SHE gloss

Didn't love the essence gloss. Too sticky. It also fades and rubs off in a way that leaves random glitter on the lips which looks really bad. No rebuy
