Feeling abandoned

Abandonment issues are painful and debilitating and exhausting.

You feel like a child. You can’t go anywhere alone. You follow your friend everywhere and don’t want them to leave. You can’t trust anyone for fear that they’ll leave and get sick of you. You try to please everyone. You do everything in your power to keep those you care about close. Usually when you finally open up and trust someone, they leave anyway.
